Nice experience last night. Got a table without a reservation, a real surprise in South Tampa! Menu was good with options for both of us. Atmosphere was lively but not crazy, just the way we like it! What made the visit special was the service. Andrew and Ava did a great job taking care of us. We will definitely be back and we will ask for Andrew and/or Ava!!

My husband and I went to ‘83 on a late Saturday night. It was busy with a lively outside crowd but we were able to be seated quickly. We chose outside because the weather was so nice and they have plenty of large TVs outside for sports viewing. The food was delicious; we shared the meatloaf and smash burger. Our server, Andrew was attentive and funny! It was a great experience overall and we will plan to visit again real soon! Thanks, Andrew for making our experience even more enjoyable!

I want to start by saying the service provided by Andrew was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, he offered thoughtful recommendations and remained attentive throughout our entire visit, which really elevated the experience.
We ordered the French dip sandwich, the staff special featuring kabobs and pasta, and the vodka sauce wings. The French dip sandwich was excellent—perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The staff special was equally delicious, and the wings with vodka sauce were a standout as well.
The margarita bucket, however, was a bit underwhelming. The quantity didn’t quite meet expectations, which was the only slight disappointment of the evening.
After dinner, we spent some time in the game room, which turned out to be a fun way to unwind and burn off a few calories—definitely a nice added touch to the overall experience.
All in all, it was a great visit, and we will definitely be returning.

We had such a great experience at 1983 and are really glad to have a spot like this in the neighborhood. From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional across the board… the hostesses, food runners, bartenders… everyone was welcoming and attentive.
A special shoutout to our waiter, Andrew, who went above and beyond. He was incredibly kind and helpful to both us and our 10-month-old son, which made a huge difference. He also gave fantastic recommendations that did not disappoint. Awesome guy and 10/10 service!
The food was excellent. The tuna bowl (you must be a fan of spice), wings, and Caesar wrap were all delicious and something we’d happily order again.
We love how well the space is designed. The adult area is beautiful, with plenty of TVs, and the kid-friendly and outdoor area is just as thoughtfully done.

Second time in and it was way better than our first experience. Bailey was a fantastic server and the food was good. Started with the Philly Cheesesteak egg rolls then the mushroom burger. Nice atmosphere, lots of TV's, definitely an upscale sports bar.

He knew to ask about placing kids meal orders right when we sat down, did not set glassware or hot food in front of children. He took good care of the adults. He made our experience at dinner five stars!
