My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at 1983 in Tampa, and the experience was genuinely outstanding thanks to the general manager, Karen. She checked in on us throughout the evening with a level of care that felt sincere, not scripted. When she learned we were there for our anniversary, she immediately stepped things up adding thoughtful touches, making sure our timing was perfect, and doing everything she could to make the night feel truly memorable.
The food and atmosphere were already great, but Karen’s attention, kindness, and professionalism turned a nice dinner into a night we’ll actually remember. We left feeling appreciated and taken care of, and we’ll absolutely be back.

Let’s start off by saying such an amazing place for parents with kids! I love how I can still enjoy myself while watching a basketball or football game. The kids have the arcade and we have the bar. The food has something for everyone, including a chicken tender tower and some awesome flatbreads! Also the staff is very friendly, and outgoing. The manager Karen made sure we were enjoying our time and told us about coming in for the cookie decorating event which we looked forward to going to, but didn’t make it unfortunately. We will be back!! Thank you for making a sports bar worth coming to with a bunch of kids ❤️

I ordered a dip without horseradish, it came with horseradish on it. And it looked very unappealing to eat, so I told them how they messed up, they ended up charging us for that meal that I did not eat, due to their mistake. Had the pretzel, which was good. But other than that, will not be returning to this place.

New place around the corner from our house. Loved the fried green tomatoes! Great place for food, a little pricey for drinks. Service was great by Jess! I can see this place being successful once they figure out their demographic. We will definitely be back, lots of games and fun to be had!

Great new eatery in S Tampa geared towards sporting events & a kid friendly atmosphere with an arcade! Ordered the French Dip & Steak Frites! Both were delicious to include their awesomely seasoned fries (choice of shoestring or waffle). Excellent decor & a step up in atmosphere at this location that was formerly occupied by Datz. Limited parking, but plenty of parking options within a three block radius. The staff is friendly & accomodating.accommodating. Swing by to try their unique lunch boxes that give a unique twist to 'grab & go'.

We hosted our kid’s birthday party at 1983 on a Saturday morning, and it was a perfect alternative to the chaos of Dave & Buster’s. The staff was organized and friendly, the space felt clean and manageable for parents, and the kids had a blast the whole time. Morning parties were a huge win—less crowded, easier parking, and everyone actually enjoyed it (adults included).
If you’re looking for a fun, low-stress kids birthday party spot on Saturday or Sunday mornings, 1983 is a great choice. We’d absolutely book again

Must try the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls! I also loved the Salmon PadThai. A different twist on padthai but still delicious and fresh and healthier than usual. The atmosohere is an upscale sports bar with inside and outside seating. Lots of TVs for sports and two great bars. Also an arcade for the kids. Win Win!
