We were in town for an event and looking for a great place to eat outside of midtown. We stumbled upon this gem near our hotel and decided to give it a try. We sat outside and were greeted by the BEST server, Emma! My mom uses a walker due to her illness, and the staff was very accommodating, ensuring she had easy access to a comfortable table and chair.
Emma was incredibly patient and kind, never judgmental. She answered all our questions with a smile and gave detailed responses about the menu items and how they were prepared. Our drinks were delicious, and the calamari was the best we’ve ever had—and we’re from a beach town on the East Coast! It was super fresh, and the marinara sauce was clearly homemade.
Our gyro platters were probably the best we've ever had as well! The entertainment added a fun touch to the evening, with everyone enjoying themselves. The atmosphere was fantastic, and we’re already planning to eat here every time we’re in Tampa.
It’s rare to find a restaurant with both excellent food and exceptional service, but Emma made the entire experience even better. Highly recommend and ask for EMMA! all restaurant need an emma!
Parking: We had a handicap parking spot right in front of the door.
Wheelchair accessibility: yes, we had easy access with a walker.

So delicious! I bought the Greek salad and mussaka for myself and my husband who was staying at Tampa General Hospital, he loved it too.

The food is amazing, friendly staff, convenient location and good entertaining but I have to point out two things I didn't like, first, parking, parking is limited due the small space, I understand that but when I arrived I parked my own car in the correct spot and the ballet parking came to me and charged me because they don't allow people to park their own car, so I paid to park and get my on car? Ridiculous, and I bet that happens often to other people too. Another thing, the DJ music and the entertainment is very good, the dances are very unique for a restaurant but after the past at 8pm the music played by the DJ was too loud, we couldn't speak to each other during dinner, other than that, excellent place and amazing taste.

I went with a group of more than 30 people. Marwa treated us with great patience, always with a smile despite how much we asked of her. The entertainment with Paula Sofia Singer was spectacular. It is an activity to be repeated without changing anything.

Marwa was our hostess, and she did such a great job serving us despite how busy it got. She was efficient and was very personable!
55 minutes to get a beer. Over 1 hour to receive the hookah! Never coming again! Terrible management!

We picked this restaurant on a whim. Our first time at an Acropolis and we were very impressed. McKenzie was our waitress and she was super sweet. I ordered the chicken Souvlaki platter with a side of potato salad. My husband ordered the gyro platter with Greek fries. I do not eat gyro meat.. my husband always makes me try thinking I’ll change my mind eventually.. I never did..until today. This is this first time I actually liked the meat. It was seasoned nicely and not salty at all. The chicken and Greek salads were amazing. But honestly..the fries were the best I have EVER had. The texture and taste was perfect. We don’t live close, but we will definitely be back.

In NYC there is the Polo Bar, in Paris there is Costes, in Dubai there is Ce la vi, in Athens there is Aleria, in Capri there is DaPoalino, and in South Tampa there is Acroplolis. I absolutely love this place! Thank you.
Very nice! We went over the weekend on a Saturday and they had a belly dancer. First round she only danced for about 7 minutes lol but then she got other round were she danced for longer but kept going outside and we were sitting inside.
Now onto the food: the sampler plate with dips for pita bread was ok overall, but the kabob and the salads were very good. Steak was tender and chicken juicy. Drink were good too. Definitely going back soon!

Love this place. We do family style gyro meat, feta blocks, and tzatziki on the patio. Such a great place to chill, enjoy the meal, and never feel rushed.
