I just got back from picking up 4 sides to sample at home. The collard greens are absolutely out of this world. The fried okra and mac and cheese is just like what my grandma passed down and it is amazing. I saw the fried chicken and it looked like it was on point. Driving back from Sarasota through Tampa and wanting some good BBQ, Yelp suggested this place. What a gem!! When we pulled up just from the looks outside I had a good feeling we were about to eat some goodness. The bundling looks older, has a parking lot. The food was fantastic. The best friend chicken I've ever had and even the kids were delighted. The staff was great. The food is cooked to order and they came over to let us know it will take a little bit to cook fresh but offered to bring the kids out right away. From 7th Street, keep walking past the bars and restaurants until you find this gem.
