My mother and I have a tradition of getting different kinds of Banh Mi together, and she was so excited to bring me here after seeing it on the news. We were both very impressed by our experience!
As a starter we had the Grilled Jackfruit Fresh Roll - which had a nice moist rice paper that was easy to chew without breaking off large pieces. Crazy good jackfruit with a smoke to it. The mint mixed with the bright notes of the cucumbers added such a nice kick to the other vegetables as well.
We both had the Kick’n Chicken Banh Mi with spicy mayo - amazing flavor, a fine crispy bread and it was full of jalapeños with some heat (which we love). They were served in bamboo steamers, adding a nice visual flair to our meal.
Given the quality of the food, it was understandable that it took a little bit of time for the food to arrive. If you do go here, make sure that you and your party aren’t in a rush. The staff are all very kind.
It is also a counter service restaurant, not table service. The restaurant is pretty small, and to be honest we were the only other people there so I’m not sure what it would be like busy. However, it was 6pm on a Sunday.
What makes Bamboozle is unique in Channelside/Downtown is that you can bring someone who isn’t familiar with Vietnamese food here and substitute for more American style meats, where some Vietnamese choices don’t have this distinction.

I ordered a small beef pho - it was delicious! Fresh and flavorful. I wish they’d included bean sprouts but that’s a small caveat. As far as restaurants go, the cost was fair, given the quality ($8). The meat was great, not overdone. I’ll be back!

Bamboozle Channelside is hands down my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Tampa. Truly everything on the menu is fantastic, but the chicken pho is next-level and my go-to every single time. My colleagues and I eat here every week, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and comforting, and the service is impressively fast. On top of that, everyone who works here is incredibly courteous and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. If you’re looking for amazing pho, there’s no need to look any further than Bamboozled on Channelside, right across from Port Tampa Bay. Highly recommend!

Bamboozle Channelside is awesome. I walk there every week and usually get the chicken pho, my favorite. But everything is good from the cookies, sandwiches, wraps, everything. It is always clean and the service is great. I don't even know which cookie is my favorite because they are all so good.

I used to like coming to the old location but I think the quality went down. The bahn mi was dry, they barely give you any bean sprouts, limes, or mint leaves to add to my pho. The pho noodles were overcooked where the noodles would break into small pieces. Flies and fruit flies with no gloves when handling noodles. Poor quality, not authentic, and unsanitary :(

Literally some of the best food you will ever eat. Everything is so flavorful, fresh, and well priced. They have something for every dietary restriction and have seasonal variety as well. The Thai iced tea is freaking amazing. This is one of those places that you will always want to try something new and never be disappointed. No such thing as FOMO here because EVERYTHING is delicious.

Incredible flavor! A friend brought me here for lunch & what a gem this place is! The staff is so friendly & the food is phenomenal. We got Thai Teas, Seasonal Pumpkin Soup and Autumn Curry. We are Vegan & Gluten Free and there are plenty of options on the menu for both!
