I got the 1/2 chicken dinner with baked beans and collard greens and it was so good it was like home cooking. That's the first time I've ever ate there and they do a fantastic job couldn't ask for better. The price is great also. I got to try the ribs next time but I'm sure they're just a fantastic.

The website needs attention. There are buttons that don't work, it is awkward and not user or mobile device friendly. It poses a security risk for the user as it does not support HTTPS.

I don't think Big John would be too happy with how things have been going the last few years. Most of the older gentleman who ran the pit are rarely seen and the younger guys seem to cook things at higher temps and quicker with more grease fires. The meat always...

The moment you walk in you can smell the smokey aroma of oak wood and hear the sound of beef and chicken being chopped behind the counter! The meats are amazingly delicious and seasoned very well, meats are pork & beef, chicken, sausage, ribs and burnt ends or thin ends as they have them listed on the menu.
