Bluwave is hands down one of my new favorite spots in Tampa! The place may be small, but that only adds to its charm—cozy, welcoming, and perfect for a relaxed meal. The food is incredibly fresh—you can really taste the quality in every bite. Everything we ordered was flavorful and beautifully presented. Food was great - however we ordered online on a Sunday night. They said it would be ready in 10 minutes. When we got there it was not ready - it took another 20 minutes for 2 sushi rolls. A bit frustrating as they did not appear busy. No apology either….

The staff were super friendly and attentive and when food was taking extra time to be ready were kind enough to bring us complimentary edamame. they went out of their way to connect with customers which was appreciated. food was also quite good and good variety! Smaller space so if looking to go with larger group advised to call ahead

Did take out for 8 people and ordered 12 different rolls. The concensus was that this was one of the best sushi restaurants in Tampa with the fish being very fresh. Absolutely loved the volcano roll. The online ordering program was fantastic and made it easy to do our very large takeout order. Loved being able to customize your rolls and choose between salmon tuna and yellowtail for your rolls. The only downside is that the amount of cream cheese in the rolls was overwhelming and they needed to use less of it in the rolls. Also the rice was a tad undercooked but that may have been because we had such a large order (28 rolls) to be picked up as soon as they opened. I would imagine that had we eaten in the restaurant the sushi would have tasted even better than our takeout which was still very delicious! Highly approve of restaurant but wished they could accommodate more people for in house dining which I would suggest doing if you can to really appreciate how good the sushi is here.
