This was my second time trying this restaurant the first time food was great , service was quick and I returned for a second try— because I placed my order at 11:15am they didn’t have onions and bell peppers prepared just yet (which is unfortunate but understandable) the issue with today’s order is being served old food. My tostones were re-fried and not fresh at all. You can tell they served the first batch of customers food from the night before just re-frying it. I’m assuming to save on food cost. This was very distasteful and discouraging I’m not sure if I’ll come back.

Their phone is not working, I waste my time drove over there. The light skin girl of front go take order from the ladies who were behind me and when the ladies told her that I was there 1st and she claimed that she didn't know. Didn't know is not an excuse for me this is ignorance and she continued with their order not even acknowledging me.

My first experience was not so good. The fried plantains were the best thing smoking with the spicy cabbage which is actually got a little spice but the djon djon rice wasnt cooked all the way, ox tails ok but sauce not all that great or presentable and sospua not it at all after tasting kreyole delights ox tails meal. HOWEVER, I gave them another try and tried their stewed chicken with djon djon rice, sospua and fried plantains and it was smacking. The sospua is still not it nor will it ever be for me but the rice wasnt cooked done, sauce was good, chicken was fresh and portion was good. Other haitian restaurants served me 2-3 day old chicken and thought I wouldn't notice. I would definitely order this again and recommend this place if they can stay consistent as today they had the audacity to put a wet fried plantain in my box of fried plantains drenched in oil. Atmosphere is loud, spacious and has potential to be a nice nighspot but they need someone answering the phones who speaks english and kreyole. Lastly, you never tell a paying client they cant have something they are paying or will pay for!

Wow …. If you’re looking for authentic Haitian food with amazing flavor and great hospitality, Bon Zanmi Haitian Restaurant is the place to go. The food is always fresh, well seasoned, and made with love. The staff is welcoming, especially Nedjine …. displayed excellent customer service. The overall service was excellent, and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. Every dish reminds you of a true taste of Haiti. Highly recommend to anyone craving delicious Haitian cuisine! Definitely a five star environment ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One of the worst experience of my life these people really need to learn customer service. I called them to place an order for four chicken Haitian patties. I drove 30 minutes just for them to tell me that they don’t have chicken patties as if they couldn’t tell me that over the phone. We’ll never go back horrible experience.
