If you want the best BBQ in Tampa, look no further than the Son of a Brisket truck. Typically located just north of the Manhattan and Euclid intersection (East side, north of the Car Wash), but sadly, not open every day.
Succulent, falling off the bone ribs. Smoky, melt-in-your-mouth brisket. And I don’t even know what kind of witchcraft he’s using for the chicken but it’s literally insane.
Traditional sides - Mac and cheese (try the spicy “cowboy” style!), Coleslaw, potato salad, and baked beans. You can’t go wrong.
If you’re lucky enough to find him open, buy as much as you can and good luck trying to make it last!!!
(But seriously he also does catering so you can set that up to be sure you and your guests will have whatever you need for an incredible BBQ feast!)

Wow. I can’t say enough about this amazing food and service. We had the pleasure of working with Slim for a Baby Bash. We ordered food for 50 people and every single person loved the food. You MUST order the smoked wings, macaroni and cheese and pulled pork. All the other sides were delicious but those were out-of-this-world. Also, the communication and punctuality with Slim throughout the process was fantastic. He came to our location, set everything up in very stylish way and left us with extras if everything. Highly recommend!

I’ll get straight to the point….Campbell’s Catering is some of the BEST BBQ I’ve had, EVER! Texas style BBQ at its finest. You can go ahead and save the BBQ sauce for other local spots that have mediocre flavor and smoke. I’ve been able to enjoy the brisket and ribs and the amount of flavor that is throughout the meat is shocking. This will definitely be my go to spot to impress friends, family, & coworker’s with BBQ. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!

Finally we found good bbq in Tampa. We tried the brisket and the pork, both so juicy and delicious. That Texas man knows what he’s doing! Lol don’t hesitate to try it. So worth it! Also I believe he’s only open Wednesday-Sunday. We stopped by on a Tuesday and it was not open for business but you could smell the delicious meat he was cooking up.
