If you think you’re getting a cozy, authentic Eastern European meal, think again.
This restaurant is filthy, the menus are sticky, the food is disgusting, and the service is worse than DMV-level bad. 3 mosquito bites in 20 minutes? I literally got the runs after eating here. So did my boyfriend. It’s not just bad—it’s actually unsafe.

This is one of the best meals I have EVER had! Everything about it was incredible. The food was delicious and unique; the atmosphere was welcoming and warm; the wine was excellent; and the service was as good as it gets. I give Chanta an A+

Chanta offers an exceptional dining experience with a fantastic atmosphere, appealing menu, and delicious food. The ambiance is small and intimate, creating a relaxing and inviting environment reminiscent of Eastern Europe, with nice decor and music at a perfect level. The food is outstanding and full of flavor, beautifully presented, and extraordinary, with options like Hungarian Goulash, which was well-spiced, and Romanian food, which was incredible. The Eastern European choices were nothing short of excellent. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, making guests feel right at home in this family-owned restaurant. Although the service was sometimes a bit slow, the privacy and delicious food more than made up for it. The prices are extremely reasonable for the quality received, making Chanta a place worth visiting repeatedly to try another one of their amazing dishes.
