I haven’t eaten here in years because I moved out of town. Today I had the most delicious steak sandwich and delectable sweet potato fries. Brittney was my server/bartender and she absolutely made my day. I remember her from a long time ago when I was a regular at the original Charanns. She is sweet and kind always with a smile on her face. I was having a bad day and she made sure that I was laughing before long and forgetting about the turmoil in my real life. It was a pleasant escape from reality. I plan on making it a point to get to town More often just so I will be able to visit this fine establishment. Thank you Charanns and Britteny for being amazing!

Let’s start by saying it smells like a dirty wash cloth. The food….. paid $91 for three pieces of the most disgusting bacon, didn’t know bacon could taste that horrible, and hashbrowns that were so thin that you saw more grease than you saw the hashbrowns. The chicken tenders were so over fried that you could’ve hammered a nail into the wood, the Reuben absolutely un edible. $91, seriously! I could’ve went to McDonald’s and spent 50 bucks had a stomach ache and it still would’ve been better than Cheyanne’s.

The worst place possible. When i walked in we felt like we weren’t meant to be there from the staff. They said we were rude from the beginning just from sitting down. The bar back Chris tried being tough because we weren’t happy with the service and then proceeded to say racial slurs to our friend which is completely disrespectful in a customer service sense.

Food has gone down in quality..we were here on a Sunday evening. Nearly no one here. We sat outside with our dog. Our server was alisia..she CLEARLY disliked dogs or her job. We paid for a grilled chicken breast..never got it nor did we get out bill. We had to go inside to get it..remember..there were literally 6 people in the bar. I highly recommend to go elsewhere if you want acceptable..service ..food and generally good attitude.

We live in the metro Atlanta suburbs but if driving within 50 miles of Tampa, Charann’s Tavern is always on the list. Warning, after experiencing the ribeye steak thinly sliced perfectly cooked on the steamed hoagie you’ll be hooked. Truly amazing!
Charann's is a classic Tampa staple, famous for their cheesesteaks. My family has been coming here for many many years, and even though I live in Texas I make it a point to stop here every time I'm in town. I like the Hot Cheesesteak, and yes, it's actually spicy, definitely not for the faint of heart. The service is always good, I've never had to wait for someone to take my order, or refill my drink once I've ordered.

A huge shout out to Bethany and her staff for catering our New Years Eve party. The food was awesome as usual (we eat here quite a bit). The process was easy and Bethany communicates with you to make sure everything is how you want it. I didn't have to worry about anything. Thank you!! Charann's for the win!!!!

I held my mid-year company party and awards ceremony here in July, and it was an incredible event made possible by Bethany and her team! My staff and their guests were blown away by the hospitality, cleanliness of the bar and of course the food and the drinks. They were overly communicative and accommodating in the planning stage and truly helped to make it a special night. Grateful for a local place that can do this with us, and we will be back. Thanks again!
