I sadly do not live in the area (or even the state), but every time I visit Tampa, I have to get Chill Bros. I like ice cream, but don’t love it. Chill Bros is an exception - I am completely obsessed. It is seriously the most delicious ice cream you could imagine. The texture is creamy but not too heavy and the flavors have the perfect level of complexity.
Over the weekend I tried their limited edition Bonfire S'mores flavor and I’m pretty sure it was the best ice cream I’ve ever had in my life. My sister and I think there must be some kind of magic involved, either as part of the ice cream making process or the ingredient list. That’s the only explanation.
Side note: Now that I’m back in NYC, I had ice cream from a famous shop here and it didn’t compare.

Some of the best ice cream in the US. If you’ve been on the west coast, you know about Molly Moon’s and Salt & Straw but on the east coast this has to be the best artisan ice cream one I’ve tried so far. Service was great too today, chill bro for sure

Omg. Delicious. You know those Cuban guava cheese pastries? They crumble them up into sweet cream ice cream. Same deal with churros. Fantastic.

Another great location and just like the other ones around the city the ice cream and shakes are consistent. The kids who were running it on Friday night were so helpful and patient. The best part was the pup cup. Its our dogs new favorite iced treat and they always know when we are close by. The pistachio ice cream is just perfect salted to precision.
