Water + Flour is that restaurant with a menu that looks like it was written during a fever dream — sushi, Mexican, pizza, and house-made pasta. Should be a disaster. Isn’t.
My cacio e pepe was Top 5 of all time, including Sicily. David’s pizza was perfect. Vibe: great. Service: on point. Return factor: 10/10.
Next time I’ll try the sushi… if I can pry myself away from the pasta.

My husband and I had a date night sitting at the bar. Really friendly bar tenders 😀 Highly recommend the meatballs app then save the plate with the sauce & get the simple flatbread & add chicken. Dip the crust in the meatball sauce 😋 We also had the twice yellowtail roll and classic margaritas. We’ll def be back! Highly recommend

Very unclean and gross and when i brought up to my waitress after i already drank half of it in the dark, they said oh sorry want another water UM NOOOOO. I will never be dining here again. The food was decent and the service was not bad. It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t bad. What bothered me is that when telling me about my base options for my meal, she didn’t mention that what she suggested was an up charge.
Then, when the bill came, she put 20% tip for herself automatically. I didn’t even have the option to choose how much I wanted to tip. We were a party of two so automatic tip is silly.
Tips are not an entitlement. They are given because your service merited a tip. In America, 15% has been the standard. I Typically give 20% regardless, but it needs to be my choice. We’ve become a country that expects rewards without the actual work that merits it.
We headed over to Water + Flour to sip our way through their brand new mocktail + cocktail lineup — and let’s just say, they did not disappoint!
First up, the mocktails: Blueberry Ginger Smash – muddled blueberries, lemon, and ginger beer for that perfect sweet + zingy combo. Strawberry Iced Matcha & Lavender Foam Iced Matcha – dreamy, creamy, and the ultimate afternoon pick-me-ups.
Then came the cocktails: Limoncello Spritz – bright, citrusy, and straight out of the Amalfi Coast. Matcha Martini – smooth, lightly sweet, and perfectly balanced (and our favorite!) The Jalapeña – a spicy-sweet mix with pineapple, lime, and a tajin rim that brings the heat.
And don’t forget to pair these drinks with their amazing food! 🍽️
Our favorites were the Spinach Arancini — crispy risotto balls stuffed with homemade ricotta, spinach, and parmesan in a rich pomodoro sauce — and the Beet Me To It Salad with roasted beets, arugula, goat cheese, candied walnuts, and a light champagne vinaigrette.

This has become my TOP to go spot when I have free time. The staff are for the most part, have a friendly demeanor. Bri, Brian, Sarah, and most of all Meg always give top notch service! Food and drinks are always made to perfection! Haven’t had a bad meal to date.

The food is absolutely exceptional. The sushi-grade fish is unbelievably fresh and melts in your mouth with every bite, rivaling the finest spots in major cities. And the chicken and waffles are simply the best in Tampa perfectly crispy, tender, and bursting with flavor.
