Doormet: Gourmet Cafe, Delivery & Catering

Hmmm I don't know, I ordered the rustico sandwich and tomato soup and both were just very meh to me. Neither one seemed like it had much flavor and seemed like something I would get at a cafeteria. Looking at the other reviews, maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but I certainly wouldn't try these items again.

Team lunch, 19 pizzas and every single one of them were hot.. awesome!

Gave me a 2 hr runaround for a delivery order that they then figured out was delivered to the wrong address after my 3rd call in for an update. Multiple blocks over from where it should've been. You'd think a business built on delivery and catering orders orders could manage to deliver a small order on time and to the right address.

Accidents happen but this was beyond poorly handled. Won't be ordering from here go forward which is a shame because the food is an absolute 5 stars.

Beyond ridiculous with the attitude and horrible service at this place. Had it for delivery and the food was great. Went there to eat and I’ll never be back.

Wow I thought this place was great until got an order with chicken and it had gristle. Nothing worse than getting a bite with gristle. Lost all faith in doormet. Yuk disgusting. No excuse for gristle in. a dish with chicken breast or any part of chicken. Pure laziness!

food is great but you guys expand your range on uber eats. unbelievable you guys won’t deliver to town and country which is 15 mins away but i can order things from brandon. 🙄

I have never had something from here that I didn't absolutely LOVE. Always fresh top quality ingredients and great seasonal creations. There's a reason Doormet is a South Tampa staple!

The absolute best eatery in all of South Tampa, they're experts and definitely do not mean right everywhere time in the down there. The staff are very professional, and the girls are the sweetest and most hospitable of any place in the area 😎✌🏼

First time using Doormet for catering an important business lunch and they did a fantastic job. The delivery was right on time and the feedback on the food was terrific.

I think we found our new spot for ordering meals for meetings and employee functions. We’ll definitely be ordering again!

Amazing food!!! Had the rustico sandwich and a pasta that was only for the month of July. Both were excellent!!! Pasta was so good with mushrooms, pine nuts,sundried tomatoes and chicken in an garlic olive oil base. Portions are big so me and mymother in law split dishes. Even that was alot. Food is really good. Bread that sandwiches are made with is made there is so hearty and delicious. They also have a meatball sub my husband had that and said ot was excellent as we. We also left with there fresh made cookies, which are huge and so yummy 😋 p.s. there ho.e made chips and lemonade was also great...can't wait to go back and try more items. Also they are really nice and welcoming.

Doormet South Tampa serves food that is flavorful, fresh, and consistently excellent. The salads are crisp, the chicken club is perfectly done, the tomato bisque is rich and smooth, and the pizzas are spot on. It genuinely tastes like something your mom or grandma would make, the best kind of comfort food without the guilt. I like to eat in, but whenever I do take out the food is always fresh and hot. They do great catering too, especially for offices where it is always a fan favorite. The lemonade is great as well, and I love that it is served out of a pitcher so you know it is fresh. Service is always friendly and welcoming.

Got a large Spartan Pzza with chicken instead of shrimp; it’s like a margherita with chicken. Delicious! We ordered it via phone call and were told “15 to 20 minutes”. We arrived in 20 but were then told “about 10 more minutes”, which was a downer. Loved the pizza tho and will be back
