I hate to write this because Eddie and Sam’s is my favorite pizza place in downtown but Saturday night I saw things that the health inspector would have a field day with. First there was a man with dark hair and glasses stretching the dough and putting the cheese on the pizzas to prep them. He wasn’t wearing gloves and that’s ok as long as he is just performing the job but he was grabbing large storage containers, scratching his face/neck and even rubbing his nose and then going right back to touching the food. We Sat down and started to eat when we noticed one of the cooks walk off the line and go to the bathroom wearing his apron and black gloves. He was in there for about 10 minutes and when he came out he had the gloves still on and walked back behind the food line and kept working. All of this happened between 9pm-9:40pm so they can look at the camera footage and hopefully correct these issues. I mentioned the first situation to an employee behind the register that looked like a supervisor but nothing was said and they ignored it so from the table I asked who the manager on duty was. She pointed to a woman working the Togo counter but when I saw she kept the dirty rag that she used to wipe the table flung over her shoulder, I said there’s no use and we left. I’m only writing this so they can hopefully fix these issues because it is my favorite place.

Had cheese pizza as it was the only option I can have as a Muslim, the pizza was huge and lovely but the game changer was the unlimited dip and ranch was amazing.

Used to be good. Now like card board. Wait in line. Fast food. Outside of restaurant scary. One homeless guy mugged another homeless guy to share pizza. Go to

Born and raised in Brooklyn. This is the only pizza in this city that reminds me of home.

I’m from NY and this is NOT NY pizza. It’s NY cardboard. The crust is far too thin and has no fluff at all. It’s hard and tastes gluten free even though we know it’s not. They skimp on the veggie toppings too.

They also put the wings in a plastic container which is appreciate to an extent, but it traps the steam in and makes the wings soggy. If you’re going to order; be prepared to bake them to make them crunchy again. I don’t normally give up my crust because it’s the best part, but the dog got this one. Would not buy again. It’s not worth the money. I should have known better than to order pizza outside of NY. Shame on me I guess. Sorry guys, rename your store you’re doing NY pizza a disservice

Update: the dog wouldn’t even eat the crust. It’s literally like a rock
