Stopped in to try a couple of slices out after a Tampa Bay Lightning vs Detroit Red Wings hockey game. Pizza tasted good and the outdoor seating was nice.

So yummy. We tried several different menu pizzas. They were delicious. The salad was a hit and the garlic knots were amazing. If we are ever in the area again we will be back!

We came from Wesley Chapel because of the glowing reviews, and I honestly can't understand them.
We're pizza people. Our favorites include Pizza Box, Santoro's, The NONA Slice House in Safety Harbor, Toby's Original Little Italy Pizzeria, Violet Stone Pizza, and Via Italia. We've gone out of our way to try many of the best pizza places around Tampa Bay, so we came in expecting something special.
Instead, this was one of the most disappointing pizzas we've had in a long time. The crust, sauce, cheese, and overall flavor were all completely forgettable. It honestly reminded me of food court pizza, and that might even be unfair to Sbarro.
The only explanation I can come up with is that being in the middle of downtown, this place benefits from people grabbing a slice after a night out. Almost any pizza tastes better after a few drinks. If you're making a special trip because of the reviews, don't expect it to be anywhere close to Pizza Box, Santoro's, The NONA Slice House, Toby's, Violet Stone, or Via Italia.
Unfortunately, it just didn't live up to the hype.

Eddie & Sam's is hands down one of my favorite pizza spots in Tampa. Every time I go, the pizza is consistently delicious with that classic New York-style taste that keeps me coming back as well as the wings. So fast and conveinet if you need lunch downtown.

If you're visiting Tampa or you're a local looking for a great pizza spot, Eddie & Sam's is an absolute must-visit.

Great experience! Myself, being from NY, could appreciate the flavor of their pizza and the style of this pizzeria! A more familiar flavor compared with other pizzas from down here. They also had a lot more specialty slices available @ the counter than other Florida pizzerias, just like NY. Was also able to enjoy eating with our dog by our side @ the tables out in front of the restaurant.
