We were at Sparkmans Whatf last night and I often have a hard time finding lower fat/lower carb options here. Honestly...I typically eat before we go and just hang with friends. BUT yesterday I decided to get the Charred Octopus Greek Salad and it was amazing. Another one of my friends got it as well and also really enjoyed it. The octopus was tender and flavorful. The sad island lettuce based...it's more tomatoes, watermelon, cucumber and picked onion based. With a some feta and olives. It just really hit the spot. My husband got a fish sammy and fries, and he really liked that as well. Service was great, and it was a nice night to be outside. They have quite a few healthy-ish option here. Now I know my go-to dish when we meet at Sparkmans to chill.

It's a pretty decent place with some amazing French Fries. The other meal items were pleasant. They also have some drinks there and do a weekly speciality drink. Service is great. Being part of Sparkman Wharf certainly adds to the experience and ambience.

I am 24 years old and when looking at my ID the bartender said my ID was “fake” and she knows her fakes. She refused to serve me after words and said the cops will be called if I don’t leave. Security came over to me and said I am all good and go to another bar. I went to the other bar in the area and they said I am all good and gave me a drink. If your in the area don’t go to this place, they’re rude and unprofessional. The bar tender is horrible and will call your ID “fake” no matter your age.

Had a great experience the first time, had good drinks. Was on vacation so we were trying it out again and said our ids were fake! Me and my husband are both 24 and they threatened to call the cops. They are terrible about service, they do not know real ids from fake!!

Not enough seating because it was busy but i suggested maybe getting two long tables and place them in the area in front the business. The food was great . I wasn’t too keen on the curry tamarind tartar sauce. It puts me in the mind of Thai curry. If you like Thai yellow curry then you will like it. I had the shrimp and chips the shrimps were humongous and very delicious. I love fries and the fries were so very delicious.Although I didn’t order the peri-peri jumbo shrimp, I wish I had ordered it because it looked so good. Next time I’m in that area i will try it.

Food was actually well cooked and tasty, the lady doing the cooking was really good and friendly and everything was done fresh for us to see, even if it did take 20 mins, which is a loooong time at a food truck (they did warn us though)My problem is with the young lady who takes the ordersI asked for a cup of water has my friend was feeling light headed, as we were waiting to be served …. bearing in mind I spent $101 on a few small plates and also tipped an outrageous 20% which I then instantly regrettedShe pulled her face, muttered some words of exasperation and then proceeded to charge me $0.46c for the tap water!!! I couldn’t believe my eyesI know even a plastic cup costs but for what I spent on some small plates of food and a couple of beers , it left a very sour taste on the whole evening and summed up the current climate of feeling ripped off at every turnI genuinely wish I’d gone back and removed the tip

I really wanted to like this place but the food was inedible. $34 wasted. We ordered conch fritters and calamari and both were awful. The calamari was drowning in salt. My cousin and I took one bite and all we could taste was salt. Awful. No other flavor. Nothing else. The calamari was soggy and undercooked. How hard is it to make good calamari. Our stomachs hurt after. It was the first bad experience I have had at the wharf. We salvaged the evening by going to bone fish a few hours later. It was delightful.

Went to Sparksman's Wharf tonight . Ordered the fried calamari and conch fritters. The conch fritters were undercooked (very brown on the outside) and so salty that they were not edible ! The calamari was fried but the coating was not crunchy and did not stay on the calamari. Simply the worse food for $34 !!

Paid $20 for 4 shrimp. Completely over priced for gut busting greasy food. Not listening to customer concern whatsoever. Avoid at all

Edison's Swigamajig has fantastic cocktails. My favorite is the High on Rye. Second fav is Swiggy Stardust (which may not be on the menu currently). Do yourself a favor and grab a cocktail from this neatly painted shipping container dive bar and take a seat back in the faux grass area near the shipping channel. The atmosphere of Sparkman Wharf is lovely. I've never tried the food at Edison's Swigamajig because I don't care much for seafood, but it does look tasty and fresh too.Parking: There is an adjacent paid parking lot which gets quite full during peak hours.

Had the shrimp and fries at this spot a few days ago. While everyone was good was a a little disappointed by how pricey it was for a plate with four shrimps, fries and mediocre coleslaw.
