For the price of the food I expected better. The beans were as if they took it out of the can and pour more water and boiled, no flavor what so ever. I am Hispanic so I do know how to cook beans my self so to save the day, I actually pour them in a casserole and added my own sofrito and seasoned them again to be able to eat them. My feed back to this store is, good red beans require a seasoning if not the beans taste like dish water. I think I will go back to La Teresita where the food is well seasoned. I feel the cook is more Cuban than Puerto Rican because a real Puerto Rican would not had made such a bad flavor less food. Perhaps they should change the name because is should not be called Borinquen if there are not True Puerto Ricans, is wrong Marketing also and misleading.
Amazing food, delicious flavor you can tell everything is made fresh. But the customer service is top notch. We will be back!!!

It's my first time I been here but never again I was expecting authentic puerto rican food it was more cuban I didn't see any rican food at all ordered the lechon it was more fat than lechon if I were to eat cuban food again it wouldn't be here
