El Manjar has great Salvadorian food. The place is small “a hole in a wall”, service if you eat there is very slow because they actually cook/prepare the food. The pupusas are the very tasty w the cole slaw which is somewhat hot. A place to visit and try but be ready to wait if you choose a weekend.
I have looked around for a while for an authentic Salvadoran pupusa spot. THIS IS IT! Very mom and pop small business style with excellent food and kind people. They can take some time to make the food but as it should it’s authentic home made. I typically call ahead and pick up my food.
There aren’t that many options for Salvadorian food in Tampa. This place is good for a casual lunch and very inexpensive, considering the prices nowadays. The pupusa Loca was very good.
