The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because the bartenders were awesome! Our burgers were over done and we got a sampler... The wings were chewy. We ordered hot buffalo sauce and it wasn't hot at all. The bartenders took one of our burgers off of our tab... And I am grateful for that.

So, while ordering a complicated meal, the amazing mixologist/chef didn't blink an eye while perfecting all I desired. She also was solo while fulfilling all other orders promptly. I would recommend this watering hole to all newcomers to south Tampa. Lauren is amazing.

Elmers is the definition of a local dive-bar. Let's analyze the Wikipedia definition, "A dive bar is typically a small, unglamorous, eclectic, old-style bar with inexpensive drinks, which may feature dim lighting, shabby or dated decor, neon beer signs, packaged beer sales, cash-only service, and a local clientele." Yes, yes, and YES! Need I say more? Okay, I will. I lean towards 3 stars rather than 2 because I appreciate the fact that they support Tampa Bay Club Sports by providing BOGO pitchers. They are friendly and are grateful to have us there, which is nice. Plus, they have pool tables at a low cost.

The fried mushrooms were amazing... the other Food was decent, alcohal was good, beer was cold.Appearantly they have issues once in a while with a smell. I was told by regulars it only happens once in a while which they have tried to get fixed but... it was a little offputting. We decided to stay outdoor but overall i'd go back if its not one of their smelly nights.

Really enjoyed their wings. Nothing is fancy about this place but it's definitely a good place to enjoy. Nice bar tenders. Crowd was a lil diverse but not where anyone wouldn't feel comfortable. I enjoyed myself.
