So, while ordering a complicated meal, the amazing mixologist/chef didn't blink an eye while perfecting all I desired. She also was solo while fulfilling all other orders promptly. I would recommend this watering hole to all newcomers to south Tampa. Lauren is amazing.
Elmers is the definition of a local dive-bar. Let's analyze the Wikipedia definition, "A dive bar is typically a small, unglamorous, eclectic, old-style bar with inexpensive drinks, which may feature dim lighting, shabby or dated decor, neon beer signs, packaged beer sales, cash-only service, and a local clientele." The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because the bartenders were awesome! Our burgers were over done and we got a sampler... The wings were chewy. We ordered hot buffalo sauce and it wasn't hot at all. The bartenders took one of our burgers off of our tab... And I am grateful for that.
