Such a cute place with amazing food and service! My aunt and I stopped in and we're greeted with welcoming staff;

The steak and onion empanada was top teir and the hot spicy Cuban was just as good!

As we left the lady was very sweet and gave us a sweet treat for my first time here(pictured)

10/10 will be back again!

Was in the area for a medical appointment when I spotted this place across the street from the parking lot. Looked em up online, read some reviews, and decided to go ahead and check it out. I am SO GLAD that I did!!! The place is unassuming from the outside, with a few parking places in front of the store. Open the door and you are instantly transported to another world. It's not big, but it is extremely cute and charming. Very warm and inviting. The woman behind the counter was incredibly kind and very helpful in describing the menu options. Another customer arrived and was quick to share that this place has some of the best food in the entire Tampa area. He, and the other reviewers were right! The empanadas were baked, not fried, and at least as good, if not better, than any I've had before. And the flavor options were as numerous as they were delicious. In addition to the empanadas, I had to try the Spicy Cuban. OMG, this was an amazing sandwich! Pretty standard with the meats and cheese, but with spicy pickles and a delectable horseradish sauce on probably the best Cuban bread I've ever had - absolutely outstanding! To top it off, I got a selection of their homemade cookies. The shortbread cookie was quite possibly the best bite of my entire 2024!
Bottom Line: you NEED to check this place out. Go now, and go often! And don't forget the cookies!!!

Parking: Parking lot directly in front of the store, in a small plaza with 3-4 businesses.

Perfect place for a sweet pastry snack, or a quiet lunch with deliciously savory hand-crafted authentic empanadas. Nothing compares to the flavor of an empanada made with care for the ingredients and baked to perfection. Will be back soon to order some catered deliciousness!

This place is a gem! The empanadas are fresh and delicious! They are baked (not fried). So many options for savory and sweet. Got Beef (original), chicken, spinach & feta and one sweet - coco-choco YUM !! The service is great - you can feel the love for the food as they describe it! Also take-away packaging is sustainable. Will definitely be back!

We drop by every Saturday at the morning market in St. Pete. In our dozens of return visits, we’ve always had the most delicious buttery empanadas and efficient friendly service. We like the savory and the sweet. Try different ones and find your favorites.

The prices are very high for a small empanada! No one is the restaurant at noon and I ordered a Cuban sandwich and I was told it would be 15 minutes! The sweet empanada was no great shakes and was small and $6. Certainly not worth the money!

Ive given the place two tries. I’ve tried their empanadas a few weeks ago- they left a lot to be desired especially with the over priced cost! I thought maybe it was just a fluke but after my second visit it’s clear it was not. The empanadas are definitely not seasoned and taste like they’re maybe purchased from a store premade + frozen. I’m confused with the pricing if they are store bought- why so overpriced? Anyhow, my second and last chance I’ll give this place showed me the products aren’t fresh & apparently falsely advertised. As a Tampa native we know how an authentic Cuban sandwich should be made IF the restaurant is going to portray it as such. The cuban sandwich is NOT authentic. There was NO Shredded mojo pork-it was store bought lunch meat. It’s basically a lunch meat style sandwich on cuban bread. Not a real cuban. Perhaps non-natives won’t know what they’re actually supposed to taste like, but a native knows- we know just by looking at it. Also, I would’ve stayed and ate in the restaurant but it was extremely hot in there. I could barely stand being in there while waiting for an absurd amount of time that it took to make the sandwich. There were no other customers so it’s beyond me why it took so long. In closing, I definitely won’t be a returning customer. At least their employees were kind & were apologizing for my wait. I’ll just drive way out of my way to Ybor city if I want to have a real cuban sandwich. Super disappointed!!

Parking: Parking is tight & can be hard to grab an empty spot!

I came in on a wim, and couldn't have been happier with my lunch choice. I had a Horsey cuban that was out of this world, and a feta and spinach empanada that was fresh baked!

Gave me a stomach ache and aren't hygienic. They drop things and don't wash them and your coffee might taste like bleach because of how they clean their milk steamer. They also leave out empanadas out for hours.

First time I stopped at the storefront, but not the first time I have had these delicious empanadas. Baked, much better than fried, and the fillings are first rate. Recommend
