The fried chicken is delicious but the sides food like the Mac cheese is terrible taste like I’m eating plan butter . The greens is a slap in our ancestors face that’s not how we as people of color make collard greens .no taste. It takes forever to get your food . I’m ashame to see people come in to eat there because they food don’t represent black people soul food. If they get some real soul food cooks they would flourish and business would grow. Best barbecue ever!
Awesome flavor!
This is my favorite bbq place! I travel over an hour for this finger lickin good deliciousness. Over the years I’ve brought dozens of friends and family here and everyone agrees its the BEST! Thanks Al and family, y’all never disappoint!

Finger licking BBQ Best in the city offers a hit or miss experience with pretty good food. The menu may not always have mac n cheese, but the hidden gem restaurant impresses with great ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, and delicious desserts. The only downside is the blah white bread that comes with the meal. Prices may be slightly higher than expected, but the overall experience is worth it.
