I don't know who was in the kitchen today but it was bad. The million dollar bacon came out ice cold. Not even lukewarm. The waitress Alicia was awesome and arranged for a fresh order right away. This time, however, some of the strips were burnt to a crisp. You could taste the burn. I was already finished and when Alicia came to remove my plate, she saw the burnt bacon. Without even asking for another strip, she automatically returned with new properly cooked one and said she felt badly. Great service recovery on her part and despite the poor food quality, I left her a more than 20% tip.

I love their coffee, the biscuits and gravy, and the works omelet. Really, everything here is delicious. The atmosphere is nice. I have come solo and with family and friends and everything it's a good experience.

Stopped for breakfast after a very long journey to Tampa right after the hurricane Milton. My server Cayla, just brightened the world around me amidst the devastation. She is such a happy person. My coffee was right there and my meal came out quickly and delicious. Everyone should enjoy her! Thanks First Watch 👍

We are regulars at the First Watch. My wife loves the pumpkin pancakes! We always request Cayla because she is so personable and provides excellent service!!!! Our orders are always right and beverages are never empty. Cayla is one in a million!!!

I was there on 10/12/24 and my day did not have a very good start, it was a very frustrating morning. Decided to stop at your location and treat myself to breakfast. So happy I did! My server was Cayla and she was wonderful, totally made my morning and day. I left there feeling so much better. The food was awesome. I’ve been eating at First Watch for many years. Starting in the Chicago suburbs, and was happy to see a location in new Tampa when we moved here. It was my go to spot almost weekly. Over time I’ve seen the quality of food slip. You know that Batman quote- “you either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain”. Well it seems that happened with First Watch (or at least just this location). They raised prices, and cut food quality. I was so excited to order my meal and received this. Like are you kidding me???? ONE pancake, ONE sausage, and ONE egg. I can’t believe this “meal” was almost $14! I finished eating it in less than 5 minutes. This meal is fit for a toddler. Needless to say, I’m already looking for a new breakfast spot. Disappointed is an understatement.

They aren't just a restaurant. They are family. Whenever I'm having a bad day... I swing by and they ALWAYS make it better. I lost my dad and cried on the porch for an hour... The love and conversations/hugs and complimentary muffin in a plate that read "you are loved" in chocolate with strawberries really touched my heart. Restored my faith in humanity and reminded me to keep going. The Loving and caring staff truly makes it feel like home especially when you're addressed by your name . I love this plaza in general. You truly feel the neighborly love ?? ❤️
