We stopped at Fly Bar for after dinner drinks and took advantage of their half price bottle promotion, which was fantastic. The live music was awesome too! The staff was great and were available to make recommendations whenever we had questions.

It was a rather cold evening as the sun started to set when I gradually crossed Franklin Street and noticed the "Fly Bar" sign. As I walked down the cold street, I remembered my father and how he beat me for not eating all my cabbages. I could only hope they did not serve cabbage. I took a deep breath as soon as I approached the entrance door, and slowly walked in while contemplating about those terrible memories, when a beautiful, young waitress approached me and welcomed me to my table. She sits me under the octopus painting and I immediately remembered my favorite movie: Titanic. (I wonder if Jack Dawson was eaten by octopus.) She asked me if I would like anything to drink and I ordered a cocktail on their menu called "The Greyhounder." It was savory and sweet, and quite delicious enough to awaken my tastebuds for another round, and then another, and another; and another... And that's all I could remember about my experience at Fly Bar. It was awesome! Will definitely come back.

Great local downtown bar/tapas restaurant. They have great tapas selections that taste great. They also have a full bar and a roof top bar, so its a pretty social place.

Great cool place, shabby chic decor, fully stocked bar. Service was fabulous and the food was non traditional fare...think healthy and tasty together. I had the risotto with asparagus=awesome. Most def recommend. I heard their drinks are to die for also. Prices very reasonable for such a hip environment!

I truly think the Fly bar is an exceptional venue in downtown. For years I have enjoyed many dishes. Sad when they change the menu and a favorite disappears. Popular hangout can be crowded. Parking can be difficult but there is lots nearby. Great place to meet friends.
