Very good pizza! The Fat Pig was delicious!
I grew up in an Italian immigrant family, and have always been a snob about the red sauce.
I got the their spaghetti and meatballs tonight, and it tasted like going home. 5 Stars.

I showed up @ 9:04 last night and the owner, Rich fired his oven back up to make me a pizza after closing. Not only did he make a delicious pizza but I learned of his plans to revamp the joint to make it a neighborhood gathering spot again. It was a great experience and if I lived here, I would certainly make it a regular stop. They also have a deli that makes incredible Cubans. Hip Hop Pizza Shop is one of the best new pizza spots in the area, offering authentic and amazing pizza, all made from scratch with fresh ingredients. The menu also includes other delicious items like a Cuban sandwich from the connected shop, Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, and wings including garlic parmesan and mild. Specific dishes like THE MOBSTER pizza are highly recommended. The food is delicious, phenomenal, and absolutely delicious with great prices and reasonable costs.
The atmosphere is very refreshing and great, featuring local artists. The service is overall great with welcoming, down‑to‑earth, and genuine customer service. The owner is incredibly welcoming with a great vision. This is a highly recommended place in Tampa for great food and friendly service, worth returning to.
