Host/server were nice, but for a steakhouse, no portion sizes to choose from. All the steaks were 1 default size. 8oz Sirloin for 26$ seemed pricey and was a lil dry. Got loaded baked potato and the stuffing came in separate containers cold. Probably won't be going back as can get 16oz steak closer to home.

It was our first time here and it was amazing! I had the ribeye, recommended by Margie (she’s a wonderful server). My partner had the coygirl steak which was tasty. Mine was excellent! Thank you. We love this place!

I don't eat steak but my husband, son an his girlfriend said their steaks were amazing. I had shrimp scampi and it was really good. We also had the sample platter as an appetizer and it did not disappoint.

Found Frontier Steakhouse because of Tampa Bites & Sites on TikTok and had to try it — the steaks were flavorful and cooked just right, and the sides (especially the baked potato) hit the spot. It’s a chill, no-frills local steakhouse with great value and friendly service, perfect when you want a hearty, classic steak dinner without the chain vibe. Definitely worth checking out if you’re craving steak in Tampa. ⭐⭐⭐⭐½

For groups, not a good place. There was one group that literally screamed at each other talking..perhaps they work in a factory 🤔 Service waa excellent, 2 ladies seemed to handle the whole place with ease. Food was ok , group liked steaks otherwise meh.

Nice little quiet spot tucked away. Wasn’t busy on a Tuesday evening and the service was good. Steaks were as good as advertised, no sauce needed.
The original owners are back! The best stake and the best service I have received in a VERY long time anywhere! This is our new favorite steakhouse!

We were looking for the best steak house in Tampa while we’re here on vacation. The first place that came up on our search was the Frontier Steakhouse… and our search was spot on!!
The food & service were excellent!! Both steaks came out as ordered & advertised. But the best part of our visit was the attention to detail & superior service we received from Michelle. Michelle made us feel like we were at home & made sure everything was perfect.
Thanks again Frontier Steakhouse & we’ll see you at our next visit to Tampa.

First time here for us. Our waitress was there for us. But, she needed someone to talk to. Really not interested in your family. Steaks were average, nothing special, baked potato seemed to be old. Support Locals, give em a try.

We came here for Valentines day with 2 other couples. The company was great. I got rib-eye and my wife got a filet. Our steaks were ordered medium, and both came out medium well to well done. I would rate the flavor as good. We both got baked potatoes with butter, and they were very good. One thing I noticed was that for a rib-eye steak, it was sliced thin. The price of our meal would be for a fine steakhouse, but the quality was not up to par for the quality of food we received. The interior of the restaurant is dated, and could use an overhaul. The wooden chairs are wobbly and definitely need to be replaced. One in our party had to switch out her chair for fear it would collapse.
