“I’m in Greece. No, not really. We just found the best Greek restaurant ever. It’s called Psomi. My goodness, so delicious. On February 20, our first time here, we had bread basket/psomi bread, le meunier butter, organic extra virgin olive oil, jam, and Greek scrambled with caramelized onion, roasted cherry tomato, creamy feta, grilled baguette. We liked the restaurant so much we came back the next day. We had chicken souvlaki - Greek yogurt brined organic breast, tzatziki, tomato, red onion, stuffed with cut fries, wrapped in a warm pita. Then we came back again on Sunday February 23 for some Greek style breakfast.“

“What a delightful surprise. I have driven by this mall parking lot restaurant almost everyday for 5 years and never once thought about stopping in. Yesterday I was looking for an easy dinner with my 2 boys since my wife was out of town and went there, quite honestly, because I couldn't find a last minute reservation anywhere else. Well it was fabulous. Except for the 1980's chain restaurant look, everything else was outstanding. The service was courteous and efficient, my server was right about every dish he suggested. We had the tuna tartar and wood fire meatballs. The tuna was chopped on a bed of avocado and was simple but perfectly fresh and seasoned. The meatballs were competent with a delicious marinara sauce, but out of everything, it was the least noteworthy. I then had the wood-grilled pork chop which my waiter described as his favorite item on the menu. And it did not disappoint. The grill mark and the smokiness of the meat were just perfect, but the lemon honey glaze made it superlative. Cooked and seasoned to absolute perfection, it made me want to plan another visit to taste it a second time, before my third bite. The accompanying purple cabbage was an excellent complement to balance out the flavors. One of my sons had the shrimp and grits (he is a shrimp and grits connoisseur) and rated it a 9/10. My other son had the gnocchi with a grilled chicken breast added for protein- the flavor of the grilled chicken was quite unbelievable, and combined with the perfectly made gnocchis, it was simply heaven. Because it was a Friday night I had their New Old Fashioned and that too was expertly done, with Woodford reserve bourbon. In conclusion- this was one of the best surprises I had as far as South Tampa dining experiences- outstanding food, masterfully executed, honest and completely unpretentious. Moreover, for the first time in a long time, I left the restaurant feeling like I would have gladly paid more for the quality and consistency of the experience.“

“Tried Bolay for the first time today from a recommendation. The food was great but unfortunately the service was lacking. There were 4 team members standing behind the counter and all 4 just seemed like it was their first day on the job. Nobody greeted us or asked us what we wanted. I was tempted to go behind the counter and make my bowl myself. I may give it another shot but at a different location.“

“Had the taco trio; pork beef and brisket. “Shia la Beef” (brisket) was my favorite but all were fantastic! Chips and queso were bland to me but I added pico and ate with my tacos. Ah-mazing nonalcoholic horchata and great friendly staff that took care to avoid my avocado allergy. Wonderful 🤌“

“Great energy from Rodney and staff! The food is amazing. You can taste the difference in the ingredients. They truly take the time and go to great lengths to source the best ingredients. This isn’t regular fruit you can find at Publix and you feel different eating this. There’s actual nutrients in this. Ice cream one can feel good about eating loads of. And let’s not forget the Sea Moss! Great source of iodine which everyone needs. In my research on my patient population I’ve found everyone is iodine deficient. People can correct this by visiting this establishment and asking for the Sea Moss. Your health will improve dramatically and you will feel more energy.“

“It was absolutely amazing! The service was fantastic. The manager and Skii with 2 ii's Checked in on us a few times. The food was absolutely amazing. I absolutely loved the brisket and my ribs. The bread pudding was phenomenal. My husband now likes bread pudding. Skii recommended the brussels sprouts and they were definitely on point! “It was my first time at an Eddie V’s. Very similar to Ocean Prime type of vibes but I enjoyed it! The Parmesan crusted fish was delicious and my husbands steak and lobster were amazing. The waiter was very nice and they brought us our dessert for the birthday we were celebrating.“

“We were a party of 6 and everything was perfect the service, ambience, and food with the exception of the crab Rangoon We order crab Rangoon practically every Chinese restaurant we go to but this one was fishy tasting. I know it is crab but this tasted bad. We told waiter but he said that was "normal". We didn't press the subject but definitely won't be ordering it again.“

While on the hunt for a quick sweet treat after lunch, we made a snap decision to try something new... Something a little different.

My wife fell in love with the shop as soon as we walked in. Beautifully decorated with a warm atmosphere, the shop was a pleasure just to be in. And the service was excellent.

We had 3 different cakes, all of which were truly decadent and delicious. White Chocolate Raspberry for the win!!

The place is nice and clean. Big dinning area. Kid friendly. Stop by if you are anywhere near by. We did and I am glad 😊 we did. We will be back again.
