Awesome food Awesome atmosphere
We had our rehearsal dinner in the Andalucia Dining Room at the Columbia Ybor. It was beautiful and the food was delicious. We loved the separate Buffett serving area.

The Columbia Cafe at the Tampa Bay History Center offers great views on the water and excellent Cuban food. The outdoor deck is a highlight, providing a lovely location for lunch or dinner. The ground floor features a spacious patio outside, with most tables being small and suitable for breakfast. The upstairs dining area is small and overly bright, unlike the regular Columbia restaurants. During the summer, the AC helps keep the space comfortable in the hot and humid weather. Servers like Ayanna provide attentive and friendly service, engaging in conversation while remaining efficient, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The food and sangria are consistently good, making it a great spot for both visitors and locals. The restaurant is often quiet when no one is around, offering a peaceful atmosphere. Occasionally, service may vary, but managers like Scott work to make up for any errors and ensure guests leave satisfied. Customers appreciate the open-air tables and the delicious Cuban food, including favorites like the Cuban sandwich, gazpacho, maduros, and pork dishes. The ambiance is enhanced with live music, although it can sometimes be too loud. Some visitors prefer fries over plankton chips and note that the sandwich could be improved with dips like ketchup or mayo, as it can be a bit dry. The staff is very accommodating and attentive, especially in the downstairs location, and food quality remains excellent across all their locations.
