Loved the vibes….great atmosphere and unique menu’s for
I read mixed reviews about Jotoro however I decided to give it a try. If it wasn’t for the ambiance, location, drinks and an amazing bartender (Lejia) I would give 0 stars. I ordered the Vegan Enchilada…it was extremely dry and almost to hard to cut or bite. Other than cocktails…I can’t say that I’d return!
Absolutely fantastic selection of drinks and wonderful food. We were in heaven! The salsa and chips with watermelon margarita-spicy delicious. Spinach and mushroom enchiladas- so good. Carolina took great care of us. Her smile and outgoing attitude made it an absolute pleasure to enjoy our playing hookie from work today. And we ate and had a great time. See you again for dessert. JOTORO Kitchen & Tequila Bar is a downtown Tampa favorite. The food is delicious, with standout dishes like the nachos, described as "absolutely outstanding" and "easily the best." The Street corn nachos and Street corn chicken nachos are incredible, and the KBBQ tacos and quesabirillia quesadillas are super good. Chicken tacos are also good. Portions are massive, though the food can be greasy and is on the pricey side, which is expected for downtown. The service is friendly and attentive, with servers ensuring guests have the best experience. The vibe is great, though it can be extremely LOUD with country music. The margs are the best. The location is wonderful, offering easy parking and a chance to explore downtown. Attire is casual, and pricing is very reasonable for the area. The restaurant is welcoming to dogs, providing water for them outside. It is a go-to spot for lunch and dinner, and highly recommended for any occasion.
