Great food! Amazing service! Can't wait to go back. Thank you to Laurie the manager for a great experience.
Really cool spot — the remodel inside looks amazing. Stopped by while visiting downtown Tampa, but we were left a little disappointed given the price and overall service.

It was my (post) birthday lunch that my friends took me to. We had not made any reservations but there was ample seating available on a Friday afternoon. The food was delicious. Wagamama Water St is a restaurant that offers a variety of Asian-inspired dishes and a cozy, elegant atmosphere. Visitors enjoy the helpful and attentive staff, with many reviews highlighting the friendly service from staff members like Giovanni, Brielle, and Brie. The restaurant provides a nice dining experience, especially at the bar, where the sake and food pairings receive high praise.
The menu features flavorful items such as the Lare burosu ramen, rice bowls, bang bang cauliflower, and the Thai shrimp poke bowl. The ramen, in particular, is appreciated for its filling and tasty broth, although some find the portions small and the noodles unusual. The appetizers, including pork pot stickers, fire pork belly, and Korean fried chicken bao buns, are generally well-liked, though some dishes are considered not as authentic or lacking in flavor.
An important highlight for many guests is the availability of Asahi draft beer, which helps the restaurant stand out. While some reviews mention that the food can be less authentic Japanese and portions are small for the price, overall, the atmosphere, service, and Asian food offerings create a positive experience. Visitors especially recommend the attentive service and the quality of drinks, making Wagamama Water St a popular spot for casual dining and drinks.
