We stopped by here yesterday after a cruise in search of free WiFi. We found much more! The coffee was great and we picked up some healthy snacks before heading to the airport. Really nice decor and friendly service. Oh and the WiFi is fast.

I came to Greenroots before a day at the Aquarium. It was around 10am on a Monday and it was empty. I ordered an iced coffee with almond milk and avocado toast with a poached egg. The iced coffee was good! I could have done without the avocado toast. It was on a protein bread and the avocado was fresh. There wasn't much flavor and it was topped with a spice that didn't add any kick. I got a poached egg too and it was really fried more so than poached. I would come back to get a coffee!

Greenroots Cafe is my go to spot for a smoothie while I'm in the downtown Tampa area. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The cafe offers a wide variety of items including tacos, smoothies, bowls and salads. Lots of the cups, straws and bowls are made from recycled materials and are compostable. My go to item is the Chunky Monkey - chocolate almond milk, banana, spinach, peanut butter, cacao, protein and agave. The smoothie is filing and delicious. I enjoy frequenting this local eatery & look forward to my next visit.

~$15 for an americano, iced coffee, cream cheese bagel and avocado toast. Cold brew was posted on chalkboard menu, but was only offered in plastic bottles from the fridge. Food took about ten minutes, had to ask for one of the coffees we ordered after getting our food. Bagel was a thin one from a grocery store with plain cream cheese, added goat cheese to the avocado toast which ended up being more of a spread. Coffee was okay, food seemed overpriced and took long.

Met the owner when visiting Tampa area... super nice! I ordered a berry mix and it was delish.. Small - quaint space .. overall fantastic experience.

Honestly the worst acai bowl I've ever had. I got the tropical bowl and the acai was almost a peach color and had the consistency of soup with a few bits of banana floating in it. When I got home after a few bites I almost threw it away and went to get a decent one somewhere else, but didn't want to have the almost $10 I spent on it go to completely to waste.

I'm a huge smoothie drinker and this was my least favorite smoothie place I've been to. My boyfriend and I came into the shop, the people were nice, we ordered a $6 smoothie & an iced coffee. We waited for our drinks and it was extremely hot inside--air conditioning was obviously not working. We sipped on the smoothie and it tasted like watered down orange juice. Ended up leaving before my coffee was done because we were not pleased with the product of the air-conditioning problem in the middle of Florida summer.

Coffee is decent but the food is not worth the money at all. Bagels are hard as a rock, Acai bowls are water with granola...gave it 2 tries. This place needs some help.
