Half Moon Seafood Co. offers delicious food at very reasonable prices, with kind staff. The Fried fish basket is simply delicious, and the crab cakes come with an awesome sauce. The hush puppies are crispy on the outside and warm inside. The fried bird sandwich is amazing, but the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich is even better for those who like a little heat. The spicy/sweet chicken sandwich is tasty and filling, and the blackened grouper is good, though some wish the portion was bigger. The fish and chips and crab cakes are yummy, and the fries are seasoned well and crispy. There is plenty of parking for the outdoor eatery, but no sit-down tables inside—only stand-up tables outside. The staff is patient and quick, making it a good pick for those enjoying a nice day at the wharf. Meals may take around 20 minutes, but are well worth the wait.
