The best crab cakes I’ve had with an awesome sauce that adds to it! The hush puppies were so crispy on the outside and warm in the outside! The fried bird sandwich was amazing! Must go!

Neat location with many counter service options for everyone! The fish and chips were great. I went with the cod but could also have tried grouper (such a Florida option). Fries were thin cut and hush puppies were magical. The sweet heat sauce was def more heat than sweet but great for both the chicken and the fish.

Good (generally local) seafood option at Sparkman Wharf. It's the Lenten season, so my Friday meal options are limited. I was happy to have the opportunity to try out the Half Moon Seafood Company for dinner before going bowling with my family at Splitsville. My husband and I split an order of the fish (cod) and chips and the shrimp and shrimp. There was a grouper option, but I generally prefer cod for fish and chips. It was very sweet and mild. The fries are not traditional chips but rather shoestring fries. They were crispy and well seasoned. The shrimp, reportedly local Gulf shrimp, was okay. I thought the breading wasn't as crispy as the fish's breading, and the shrimp was okay but not the best, flavor-wise. It didn't taste as fresh. Also I did not care for the cocktail sauce they use/make. Service was friendly, and I liked that they texted me when the food was ready so I could go find a table and not wait by the pick up window. They do not sell their own beer/wine/cocktails, so I could also use that time to run to grab a beer to go with my fried seafood.

Took too long for orders to come out. We waited for over 40-minutes. Not enough tables to sit or even stand.

Absolutely delicious! A bit pricey, but worth it for how good and filling the food was. It's hard to find hush puppies on a menu, especially good ones, so this did not disappoint! The service is good and the atmosphere is nice because it's at Sparkman Wharf, which is a super cute area. I definitely recommend if you find yourself at the Wharf!

Big. Fat. Tasty. FRESH GROUPER Sandwich. Best I've had in a long time. You get exactly what you pay for as Grouper can be expensive.I tried blackened...Great call.Sooo juicy.Skinny French fries were also amazing.

"We strive for perfection with everything we make". Their super high rating brought us here to eat and they did not disappoint. I was very pleased with the shrimp po boy, my son absolutely loved the crab cakes. After dinner, we came to the conclusion what ever you order, will probably be amazing!

Half Moon Sea Food 615 Channelside Dr Tampa, FL @halfmoonseafood Half Moon Sea Food is a locally owned fast-casual restaurant that offers a seafood- and chicken-focused menu and a variety of innovative sandwiches and plates. Definitely a place to look into if you're into fish and chicken. I had the pleasure of visiting them over the week and let me tell you they had some delicious food . I was offered a Shrimp Po'Boy. That sandwich there rocked As well as the Fish and Chips that I also ordered. I would definitely recommend this place. Thier located in Sparkman Wharf in Tampa.

Food was made to order, fresh and hot! Not much seating so be prepared to stand and eat but it's worth it! Large portions, probably enough to share but I had the shrimp po boy and didn't want to! lol I love the area, was great for sight seeing and great views.

Highly recommend!A bit pricey for the portions you get, so it’s a once in awhile stop. Extremely worth it though, very fresh. Couldn’t stop falling apart. Everything made right there fresh. Including the shoe string fries, which were warm!I spread the word and my friends loved it to.High prices on drinks, walk down to GreenWise for that.
