I went here for the first time a few weeks ago and enjoyed it and cant wait to go again. I walked in with $150 and walked out with $900. The only advice I would give is make sure you know where you parked and how to get back because that can be very difficult to find when you're done and ready to leave.

If you're a fan of the Hard Rock ethos, then this and the world's largest HR in Orlando are as must see as London.

Really nice and relaxed safe and superior food and drink, but the machines pay in incredible amounts I bet a total of two pennies and won about $320. Everyone's luck is different but I enjoyed the dimensionally the food was great the restaurant the people were very helpful and the games are very easy to use

Please note this is a review of the Tampa casino and restaurants, NOT of the hotel.
We went for our42nd wedding anniversary and live about an hour away, so we have visited before, several times over the years. This review is on Wednesday in May 2025.

PARKING: This time, like previous times, parking is hard to find, especially for handicapped spaces. The multi-story garages (we parked in the Lucky) all have very narrow spaces and need to be re-drawn for the newer, more modern cars that are wider.

RESTAURANTS: We were there from around 3 pm to 7 pm. Most of the restaurants are quiet if you eat before 5 pm, and some don't even open before dinner. Places like Constant Grind will have almost run out of the pastries and sandwiches, so if you want those, order ahead and leave the order for pickup at your convenience. They have a few tables, and you can get fresh coffee anytime. They offer Italian and French pastries, like croissants and cannoli's, plus 'panera' style sandwiches.
We chose to eat at the Candy Factory, where they had a huge rack of BBQ ribs with fries and mac-n-cheese for $38.99 for two. They also offer sandwiches, burgers, and standard restaurant faire, but they are known for their candy by the ounce and their enormous cocktail menu (most starting between $15-$19 each) They all came over to sing for us (plus bringing a free dessert). Seating was ample and comfortable. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere very much. Service was a bit slow as apparently half the day shift hadn't shown up for work, with our server admitting the shift manager actually doing the cooking!
There were many other restaurants with a very high end steak restaurant, the buffet (add 3 lobsters for an extra $20.00, good deal!), a very busy noodle restaurant and several places that do normal higher end food.

CASINO FLOOR: Being handicapped it is vital that I stick to a non-smoking area, and I enjoy slots. Those things are clearly not of importance to the Hard Rock as it's a very small area and don't have the latest machines in them. When you compare this casino to Las Vegas, the machines need a clear update, plus no free drinks, unlike its Nevada counterpart. There is also no oversight by a gaming committee like in Las Vegas, with many machines not showing pay lines, etc. My husband played the bubble cramps and came out so ahead that it paid for dinner and my losses!

The whole vibe changes as the afternoon becomes dinner. More hotel check-ins, busier casino floors, and much more busy at the restaurants. Overall, we had a good afternoon out, missing Tampa traffic both going and returning to lower Pinellas county.

Brian is the best. We will be back just because of his service.

Went to the event center for a comedy show and the signage to get from the parking garage to the venue is poor at best, had to ask for directions 3 x and finally got there.

Great experience while dining in. Friendly staff and good food. I ordered the steak salad, it was HUGE, and delish

Why can we order 6 items and none of them are hot? Why do the servers have to enter all of the days checks while we are trying to order?

With that being said the servers do the best they can while being strangled by poor management.

Good experience
