Very authentic, with huge portions. Food was incredible, service was great, and the atmosphere casual and relaxing. And the market has a big variety of food and treats. Best Mediterranean place in town. Give it a try you won’t regret it. Easily 5 stars.

We've been coming to Istanbul Mediterranean Grill & Market for a couple of years now. The food is always fabulous, and the portions are generous! Great pide to choose from. Chicken adana, lamb gyro, lamb and chicken shish - all great options! We usually start with their complimentary homemade bread and an order of Sigara Borek (cheese cigars). We like to get the Mixed Grill as our entree to share since it offers a variety of meats. It easily feeds three to four people. This time, we got the larger Chef's Special Mixed Grill (in video) which fed five of us, plus we had four leftover meals to take home! A couple bites of Kazandibi makes for the perfect dessert. Keep in mind it can get very busy in the evenings, so you may need to make a reservation at peak hours. It's popular for good reason! We've only found one Turkish restaurant that we felt was even better, and that was in New Jersey. For Florida? We've tried a number of other Turkish restaurants in the Tampa area, Orlando, Miami, and in between... Istanbul Mediterranean Grill remains our favorite thanks to its incredible tasting food, generous portions at reasonable prices, and excellent service. We will be back again soon.

We dined at the restaurant today after looking for a Turkish restaurant on Google. We are so glad that we found this establishment! Our experience was wonderful. The service was top notch and the food was absolutely delicious. They gave us an appetizer on the house and also treated us to some Turkish tea after our dinner. We will definitely be back to dine again and shop at their well stocked market too. The atmosphere is very friendly and so attentive to their patrons. We can’t say enough! Great restaurant!

Absolutely delicious food. Super quick to get in seated and receive our food. Great dine in and take out options. Had the mixed gyro wrap and it was perfect. You can taste the fresh ingredients. They also have a little market in the back to look at. Also the restrooms were really clean.
All around a great eatery. Some of the best Mediterranean food in Tampa!

This place is simply incredible. The owner (could be, or maybe manager) is right there checking on you and keeping the gears running; you can tell the place is this man's heart and soul and the staff are just as kind and attentive. And the FOOD. The portions are insane, and everything is fresh and delicious.

Food is okay. Keeps losing quality a year after another. But prices keep increasing tremendously

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a sit down restaurant. We are from out of town and wanted to try this place. We are a family of 6 and we felt like they didn't want us there. Giving us ugly looks.

1. We had to ask the waitress several times for the basic appetizers we ordered. She kept forgetting...... What we ordered...

2. The absolute basic thing we asked for water and she never brought, again had to ask several times.

3. The adana kabeb was RAW and undercooked.

4. Had to ask for silverware.....

5. The bread was burnt.....

6. At this point I couldn't take it anymore. I got up and left....

Don't waste your time at this restaurant. Go somewhere else. They will ruin your evening if you go there.
