We went for the drinks- they were creative concoctions, and the ambience was cool. Some of the drinks were good, but extremely overpriced. The service is really awful, and we sat unattended for 45+ minutes and then were also charged for extra items that we never ordered. I would not go back because the service was that bad.

Swanky Speak Easy bar hidden behind the bagel shop Sesame. The atmosphere is super romantic and has that high-end cocktail bar vibe that South Tampa is known for. Reservations are needed, and it's very rare to just walk in for a table. The drinks are pricey, but the quality is there for a well crafted cocktail. Service is amazing, but know this is a late night spot, so it gets busier as the evening goes on. This is perfect for a romantic date night or to grab a night cap after dinner.

Tried it again.. drinks still took forever to arrive. With only 10 people in the entire place and 6 bartenders/servers it took 15-20 min to give us 3 basic expresso Martinis. Drinks are still ridiculously overpriced. I don't see this place lasting with overpriced drinks /service time ridiculously slow. Popcorn was good. Cheese fondue was ok.. kinda weird to pair carrots celery and beets with cheese. Stick to bread, meat, pretzels even. Our server was very nice. But please coming from cirros association.. just bring back all things that cirros brought to the table. Good food, awesome drinks that arrived quickly, awesome servers/bartenders. This place just screams trying to hard and charging too much. Or just replace this with cirros since cirros left. ?

I have visited speakeasies around the world, and here are my thoughts: 1) **The Good**: The interior is stunning, offering a cozy lounge vibe. The music was at a comfortable volume, allowing for easy conversation. The bar boasts a great selection of premium spirits, and the menu is extensive. 2) **The Bad**: The drink prices are too high for repeat business, ideally ranging between $20-25 per drink. There were no mocktails on the menu, and with only a few tables occupied, it's hard to justify such high prices. It may be difficult to retain good bartenders if their tip income is low due to fewer customers. **Recommendation**: Consider lowering drink prices to attract more guests and increase volume.

Very neat place, but I've been there twice and both times it was very noisy. It's as loud as any packed bar you'd ever go to. They have groups come in and people just standing around talking at full volume. I could barely hear our waiter talk or give his presentation about our drinks. I probably will not go back.

We went there to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Great atmosphere, drinks and food. DJ playing great sonhos and good vibe. Cocktails are the high point by itself. From the explanation to crafting... Definitively the best hidden place to go in Tampa.

We went on a date night and loved the speakeasy flow of how you access Jekyll, the aesthetics inside are pretty and our server was very friendly and made our experience enjoyable. The two drinks we ordered, although we loved the theme, were so-so and a bit involved for our liking. It could be that we simply didn’t order right for our tastes and should have stuck to something a bit simpler. The presentation of the drinks was really fun! Unfortunately though, I can only rate the drinks with a 3 star for now unless we return and try something we like better. The biggest bummer of the evening was the DJ and extremely loud club-type music. We would have stayed for another round to give a different cocktail selection a try, but decided not to due to how loud it was and the fact that the type of music, in our opinion, clashed with the vibe of the space and discouraged us from staying longer. Not sure if we will make a second visit or not. If so, perhaps we will try to come at a time the DJ isn’t there?

It was our first time at Jekyll and it was not a disappointment. We had several different drinks and the mood and ambiance was fantastic. Only issue I saw is don't be the first to arrive and it's a bit boring being there first but at least we got to speak with Mia, our waitress to get a good explanation of the drinks without the distraction. Will def come back again with a few others and not at openning.

Jekyll is a superb drink spot. With a very unique way of gaining entrance into the establishment. This is a fun and swanky spot. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. There was a DJ there who played upbeat music to keep you nodding your head while just loud enough so you and your party can hear each other talk without having to scream at each other. The drink menu is very creative. Featuring cocktails that tell a story and take you places with every sip. I'll be back for sure and highly recommend it to anyone looking to impress someone for a date or business client. Very classy

We enjoyed ourselves. However, our reservation was reserved for 2 hours but while we were enjoying ourselves the waitress said table reservations are only an hour and a half. Even when I told her it was 2 hours. So we felt rushed, and had to leave our table because the next party was waiting. So clarity on bookings needs to be better. This is why I gave a 4 star instead of a 5.
