The atmosphere was extremely inviting and wonderful if you’re out and about wanting to have a bite to eat at their lobby bar. We ended up eating there at lunch and I had the Caesar salad and added chicken, which ended up being too salty. I wasn’t impressed but we already had reservations in the evening. The hostess had a line with people needing their table… we finally got sat and it was a table in the corner of the restaurant. We ended up sitting there for a few minutes...
We went for brunch and the food was stellar. The truffle fries were the best I've ever had and the breakfast smash burger was amazing. I will definitely order the homage to Berns next time! The bloody maria and mimosa were also excellent. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable.
As there was a public event, Gasparilla, lots of commotion around and in the Hotel which made it a bit noisy, but overall a wonderful experience. Our server was experienced, polite, prompt and timely. Our food was outstanding. Will be going back as soon as we can. Larry T.
