The best tacos HANDS down . The entire experience is amazing from the moment you walk into ANY of their locations - you have to try it to actually know what I'm talking about. You won't regret it.

Not a good experience but they were slammed busy. Order was mixed up, got the wrong food but ate it anyway. Then they brought out the correct order and didn't know what to do with it so they left it for us. We had so much food on the table that went to waste. My friend and I got sick on the food and our stomachs rejected the food from both ends shortly after eating. We were up vomiting all night. This place was highly recommended! I'll chalk it up to a bad night since I heard so many good things about this place.

First time here, obviously not sure of their ordering procedure. We get rushed to order, we get treated like crap because we didn’t know we needed a number that was never handed to us. The younger guy with the tattoos is super rude and needs to be let go.

My boyfriend and I placed two separate orders at their kiosk under the same table number. My order comes first which was a carne asada burrito. The waitress takes the table number with her after I tell her that we have another order. A while later she brings out a quesadilla which turned out to be shrimp instead of what he ordered which was carne asada. My boyfriend is allergic to shrimp so i immediately tell the waitress and the first thing she does is blame him for picking the wrong item at the kiosk. Then the shift manager comes out stating that his order was never paid for. My boyfriend pulls out his receipt to show that he did in fact pay for it and what he ordered was correct. The waitress continued to have an attitude trying to find blame in us. We waited over 30 min for them to not have even started remaking his order. The only reason the shift manager offered a refund for his order after waiting for so long was because she didn’t want “any problems!” She couldn’t even bother to refund my order for the inconvenience the whole situation caused. They are very lucky that my boyfriend had his medication in his car!

Hi Chris,

This is Alexandria following up to your response to my Google review. This incident took place around 845pm on 10/1/2025 at the Los Chapos Ybor location. I’m not sure the name of the waitress who brought the wrong order out but the name listed on my boyfriend’s refund receipt is Sara Z which was order number 155 at table 93. I was honestly flabbergasted at how insensitive they were after stating my boyfriend is allergic to shrimp. The waitress was so quick to blame him instead of trying to figure out what happened or even apologize. The shift manager didn’t even offer a refund on his order at first, all she offered was to give us free juice. She only offered a refund after I stated that we shouldn’t have been waiting so long for a remake. They were so focused on having a discussion with each other about if the order had already been made instead of remaking it like they said they were going to do. When I asked for a refund on my order that I didn’t even eat the shift manager said no because my order was correct. Not one of them bothered to ask if my boyfriend was ok! My order number was either 153 or 154 table 93 with a transaction total of $15.04.

These were the best tacos I've ever had, the shrimp was perfectly cooked, the pork was juicy, absolutely amazed. The chips and queso were the cherry on top!!! Will definitely order again 😁😁😁 thank you!

I hate to say it but after being a strong supporter of this place since the very beginning I honestly think they’ve fallen off a lot. They used to have what was hands down the best tacos in the Tampa Bay area and I would bring so many of my friends and coworkers. In the last year or two I’ve noticed the quality dwindling and being just okay. I think as they’re expanded they have been cutting corners on how a lot of their meals are done and it’s definitely made the food quality worse. It’s definitely not bad food, but nothing to rave about anymore unfortunately

Our new favorite taco shop! Everything we have had here has been phenomenal. We love the Pineapple Agua Fresca and the Al Pastor taco. The bowl was also delicious and a large portion size for the price! I will say, double check your order because every time we have come, they forgot to give us something and we had to go back and ask for it. Everything else is amazing!

Went here for the ratings. Not a great location because parking is limited. One screen to order from, not enough photos. Food came out fast, portobello mushrooms taco were good, great flavor. Birra tacos were good. Pico & chips were great. Plantains were old, not crispy. Won't be back.
