Went in there on a Sunday and fell in love with a new restaurant.. I ordered the baked chicken with yellow rice,yams, Mac and cheese,and collard greens. Everything was delicious but the greens were like Granny's.They even had pouches of cool-aid.I was impressed and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for some great soul food.

Hands down the best oaxtails I ever had the collard greens where a slap to the face, everything was like a taste of heaven . Most definitely worth the drive I came from Bradenton area I will most definitely recommend this place and come back !

First time trying oxtail and it was amazing, collard greens were so juicy and seasoned. Their cornbread was warm and sweet by far the best I’ve had. I will be coming back whenever I’m in Tampa again!

Best food in Seminole Heights!! Once our order was placed, we waited just a few minutes, and then received the best plate of food I've had in MONTHS. Seasoned to perfection, and the meat fell right off the bone. You get an insane amount of food for the price; definitely enough for multiple meals. If I could give them 10 stars I would. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Everyone should try out M&R- you won't regret it.
Finally made it to M&R. Everything was popping hot. The green beans were my favorite and so was the rice ? I liked the greens, candied yams, herb baked chicken and Oxtails. The mac and cheese had good flavor, I just expected it to be a bit more moist/juicy, with a cheese pull. I love a good cheese pull on my Mac and cheese, this one was on the dry side for me. The service was fast and friendly. I'll be back to try different items!
