This place was amazing. Food was so good. Service was excellent!!
Very Upscale British pub
Good food. Bangers & Mash and Fish & Chips: both dishes are outstannding. Maci, our server, was great.
Beautiful house well decorated, modern style with beautiful British interior design . It was very crowded on Sunday for brunch/lunch that’s why was very noisy. Food is exceptional! I had chicken Marsala it was the best one I had in years ! Great options of excellent beers and drinks , tasty dessert too. Dogs were everywhere inside and they were soooo cute ! I love dogs ! I highly recommend this place

Very, fast service, friendly staff
Super cute place with plenty of parking and a great happy hour with yummy food snacks not just drinks! Get the whipped feta and pretzel bites! Only $6 each during happy hour! 3-6 not sure the days but definitely Thur!
Best shepherd's pie I've had in Tampa! Can also recommend the Scotch egg, fish & chips, and sticky toffee pudding. Great service and atmosphere!

The sticker toffee topped off an absolutely fantastic meal! Cannot wait to come back for another Sunday Roast!

4.5 stars! We really enjoyed our visit here. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The building, decor, and atmosphere was great. I didn’t grab photos, but each room was tastefully decorated, even the bathrooms (which I really liked were just individual stalls with their own full door and sink).
I got the afternoon tea service, which was delicious. I was able to swap out the tuna salad tea sandwich for an extra cucumber sandwich since I don’t eat tuna. The cucumber and egg salad finger sandwiches were great. The scones were lemon blueberry with clotted cream and strawberry jam. They came cut into quarters which was difficult and messy to eat. I would have preferred them to come either cut in two halves or split them myself, but they were tasty! The desserts were two cake like options- a tiramisu/coffee and a red velvet. These were great but I would’ve liked more variety in dessert options. I had English breakfast tea and my husband ordered earl grey. These were both good, just would’ve like to see a few additional options as I believe there were only 4 or 5 teas to choose from.
My husband had fish and chips. I didn’t try it but he enjoyed it! We also got the stuffed peppadew peppers which were very flavorful.
All in all we will definitely be back, I love that there is an afternoon tea option here that isn’t ultra fancy and doesn’t require reservations in advance.

Busy Sunday morning. Nice menu for brunch and lunch. We had a caesar salad with salmon and chicken on arugula. Service very good by Abigail and a roving manager checking to make sure we were pleased. Very interesting pictures and a little bit different type of restaurant.

Came to Have a quick little bite before going out and got to experience the most amazing young singer and performer. Stunning! I think the live music really added to the amazing ambience of the whole restaurant. I would absolutely come again for the live music and the sticky toffee pudding! Xo

I love it here!! we didn't have a reservation and the staff did accommodate us. Gerry was so super helpful, knowledgeable, importantly and he made sure he did everything! our orders were taken and promptly distributed. Super awesome! Will be back because of Gerrys exceptional service.
I have been to the new location on 3 separate occasions. The space is much nicer, but the quality of the food has decreased while the prices are increased exponentially.
What is even more disappointing are the bartenders that can’t pour a Guinness properly. I’m sure they make excellent cocktails, but an English restaurant should not be serving $9 pints of flat, thin Guinness.
The old location was much better. This new location is meant to impress South Tampa implants.

This was my first dining experience at Mad Dogs and Englishmen and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The food was amazing, the service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere made the whole experience feel cozy, fun, and memorable.
Everything felt thoughtfully done and welcoming from start to finish. It’s rare to find a place that nails the food, service, and vibe all at once, but this place definitely does. I’ll absolutely be back.

Come on people! You’re an English pub. Have some standards. You MUST be kidding with those things you call French fries. They need to be fresh cut, fried in beef tallow. For the price you would think they were, however, sadly they are not. Let’s raise the standards pls!!
