Came once before the food was horrible, heard about the establishment and awful experience and wait. The pictures look better than the taste. I'm a southern girl and I have high expectations when it comes to soul food and it just was not that. Came back again because some friends wanted to try and I thought I'd give a second chance.... It's 130PM on Wednesday and the doors was still closed. No one picked up, the staff isn't there. Only one person is there & I asked after getting their attention and I honestly can't support the business again. Second bad experience was enough for me Hate that I have to do that to a black owned business...

Went here on a Sunday afternoon with my sister. The music and vibe was great and the mimosas were good. The seafood and grits were good and the peach cobbler waffle was good, but everything else was not. The chicken for the chicken and waffle was horrible, very dry, no seasoning. There was no chicken wings at all so we ordered fries for an appetizer but they didn't come out until we were bout to leave and the fries were very greesy. We had apple cobbler for desert and it was horrible. I would go back just for drinks at the bar but will not eat here again.

I wish I could write a review about the great hospitality and the food looks good. However, I never was seated. I walked in to the establishment to place my name on the waiting list. The hostess with black and pink eyelashes told me it would be a 1 hour wait. The hostess also stated she just seated a large party and would call to let me know the table is ready. I waited an hour and didn't receive a call. I walked in to the restaurant after the time had passed to check on the table. The waitresses saw me at the hostess stand and kept on with their task. I was never acknowledged and it felt as if I was in the way of the camera man who was set on taking pictures in the front.I waited three minutes before I left because it clearly seemed they didn't want my business. I'm really sad that this was my first experience and if anyone is still brave to attend this spot after this review, I hope they give you better treatment.

This place has THE best fried catfish in the south! Their cornbread was beyond on point. Everything was delicious! I will make a stop here every chance I get! ???

My bf and I just visit this place on 7/3/2022. It was everything. We arrived about 12:50pm brunch started at 1pm it was perfect timing. The drinks was nice. I ordered seafood grits, lobster and waffles. Lemme tell you. That seafood grits makes u wanna slap ya mama. It was everything. Just absolutely delicious af. The strawberry short cake waffle was to die for. Omggggg this was good as hell A+++++++ I would definitely visit again. It's on my top 5 list. I love it. @Kb_Chanel

Didn't know they weren't kid friendly nice young lady apologized they don't allow kids under 12 so I wanted to order to go now problem....Until the server man wearing the all white skinny guy walked out to the next party asking him "you have no kids right?" I'm not from the area heard of the restaurant but definitely won't return. These kids of mine ate places he's never ate...hope your tipped well server.

The only thing good about this restaurant was the wall decor photo op that said "Main Things Only". The wait was long. They do not allow you to wait in the AC in the photo op area. You and your group will have to wait in the hot, humid Florida weather. Luckily the area is shaded but that does no good with the humidity. You have to provide your name to the list to even sit at the bar. If there are open seats at the bar, you are unable to sit there. Once my friend and I were seated, it took 20 minutes just to order our drinks and apps. It took longer than that to receive our queso dip and pita chips and place our order. I decided to order the shrimp and grits. What a bad decision that was! I had to send mine back due to gritty grits. Needless to say, I only ate the queso and a side of Mac and cheese. If you do decide to visit, please be prepared for a long wait especially during Sunday brunch and the customer service was bad. At the time we went, they only had two servers that also had to work the bar and one host. There was a guy who did work behind the bar from Time to time who may have been the manager but it still didn't eliminate the long wait for food.
