This location has improved. There used to be a weird musty smell in the rooms which I didn't experience this time around. The staff are generally nice. "Frank" texted directly to ensure my stay was satisfactory. Full size dispense bottles of shampoo, lotion and body wash are available on the shower wall. Breakfast was hot & ready. The Evening Reception was literally snacks as advertised: fruit, salsa & chips. Gina the bartender is very efficient and knowledgeable. I noticed she gets annoyed by patrons who lack bar etiquette or don't know what they want or don't ask the right questions. Good customer service shouldn't stop because someone is inexperienced. Overall, I would come back.

I’m not here to drive down your stars. Please change your bartender at nights. Not sure of her name but it’s not important because I’m sure I’m not the first guest to complain. I didn’t ask her about the charge on my bill because of the way she was treating other guests . Glad I didn’t because I was able to hear her rude response all the way at the front desk. Please re train her or put her in the back where she doesn’t interact with guests.Also to her comment on the bartender before her (that used all of the olive juice), that apparently he is “on the spectrum”, shame on you! So is my son and I can guarantee his IQ is double yours BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, he would not complain about such a mediocre, meaningless job as bartending. Do better!

At Embassy Suites Hotel, the service is amazing. The managers, especially Vincent McKenzie, are well mannered and friendly. The breakfast is well cooked and has a great variety. The omelettes and waffles are delicious and are made by the chef. During cocktail Hour, there are a variety of snacks and drinks that are excellent and scrumptious!. The cleaning crew is delightful and so kind. The hotel has enlightened our trip and I will recommend this hotel to everyone I know. 5 stars, The Embassy Suites hotel will treat you as if you're in paradise.. The staff is incredible. The most friendliest people you ever want to meet.

A little recommendation….while attending the concert last night (8/10/23) at Mid-Florida Amphitheater we stayed at the Embassy Suites in Brandon. We are Hilton people so staying at their family of hotels is always our first choice. But I have to tell you, this Embassy Suites takes customer service to the next level. From Matthew who checked us in, to Gina the bartender, to Mike and Millie who made our breakfast, to Chad the General Manager, they did not miss one opportunity to make sure we were completely satisfied. A bonus was that the hotel was a $12 Uber ride to the Amphitheater. If you can swing it, stay here when your attend your next concert.

Outstanding hotel! Conveniently located near major roads, restaurants and entertainment. Bass Pro, IFly and Top Golf are right down the road. The property is in quiet area which is nice. The staff overall were great. Friendly and willing to go the extra mile. The room was well maintained though in certain areas the age of the hotel is showing a little. Housekeeping did a good job and kept the rooms clean and on a regular schedule. The restaurant had a good selection and even had specials. Gina the bartender does a great job keeping the bar and restaurant fun and relaxing. Breakfast was good with a good choice of food. I didn't use the pool, conference/meeting rooms but plenty I spoke with did and while the pool is small it was adequate. There is an Avis Car Rental in the hotel. I travel 200+ days a year and this is a new favorite of mine. I will be staying here again.

Beware!! They fool you with the lobby area and free breakfast buffet, but this hotel is in desperate need of renovation. I was extremely disappointed in the rooms! They look like they haven't been updated or deep cleaned since the 90s. The newest item in the entire suite were the HDTVs. The carpet was filthy, hair was all over the bathroom and I had to track down the cleaning crew to get facial tissues. There were stains on the bed skirts, mattresses were not comfortable and the A/C unit didn't really cool the room until you set it to 67 degrees or lower! As a Hilton Honors member, I was shocked at the poor quality of this place. To pay $255+ a night for something this bad felt like a huge slap in the face. Thankfully, we were only staying in town for one night for a graduation ceremony or we would've tried to find a nicer hotel.
Where can I start. I guess I could state that the employees of the facility were nice and pleasant. Other than that every other amenity in this hotel was absolutely horrible. It would be a numerous amount of things from the bedsheets feeling like they are old drapes from a castle, to the shower not providing hot water. I left it run for six minutes. The smoke detector going off at 1 AM in the morning. Having to move rooms because no maintenance men are on site at night. I ordered boneless wings plain that were overly burnt and I could not eat them. The chicken Caesar salad didn't even come prepared. Why are you so lazy? You couldn't mix the Caesar salad and unwrap the chicken from the plastic wrap it was microwaved in. . The vents had mold in them. This is just not a great location for anybody. Looking to have a good stay in Tampa. I'm usually a Marriott person and I didn't make this reservation. I will stick to what I know in the future and never stayed an embassy suites again.

We stayed here a night. The rooms are huge. The help go out of their way to serve you in what you need help with. Kind, polite, they're just so pleasant. I felt like royalty. The buffet breakfast was very good. Once again they were there to assist you with whatever you needed done. The rooms were clean, big, and comfortable. I don't sleep well away from home but I really did well here. I would give them 7 stars if I could.

Good food in relaxed atmosphere. It’s in the Embassy Suites so very convenient to our hotel next door. We had dinner and drinks both nights we stayed there. Food was good and reasonably priced. Gina was our bartender/server the second night. She did a great job. Sandwiches, salads and burgers were all very good.

My family and I stayed for one night, attended a wedding and the reception was in the hotel. When we arrived the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was very clean. The size of the suite we got was very spacious had a separate living/office area from the bedroom. I also loved having both a mini refrigerator and a microwave in the room. Breakfast is included with your stay. They have self served and made to order which includes omelettes and waffles. They have a manager reception every night (5:30pm-7) in which they give you two complimentary drinks at the bar. That was a nice perk. There was more than plenty of parking available around the hotel. I will stay here again when I'm in the area.
