From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Michelle, who was incredibly friendly and attentive—she constantly checked in on our group to make sure everything was perfect.
The decor is simple, elegant, and beautifully designed, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.
The food was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. I ordered the mixed grill, and every type of meat was cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and seasoned just right.
If you’re in Tampa and craving Middle Eastern cuisine, this is the place to visit. Chef Yousef and the team truly deliver a dining experience that’s both refined and heartwarming.

Stunning Mediterranean gem with a warm, inviting vibe. The food is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly executed truly authentic. The olives were a standout. Every dish delighted us, and we can’t wait to return with friends to explore more of the menu. Great experiences like this are meant to be shared!

I wasted 2 hours driving and $$$$$

Melissa was awesome. She knew everything about the menu and would even get suggestions on how to pair the sauces and dips. Super friendly and knowledgeable, Adds to already amazing food and a beautiful setting. Definitely a hidden gem. Make sure you request Melissa when you come in.

Man... what happened to this place....?
This was my go to spot in Tampa,
I go to this spot every month,
And changes I been noticing is just too much now...
Portions are getting smaller and smaller,
I mean, they changes their plate design almost every months to a new smaller plates,
But with the tariffs and inflation, maybe yea?
But the service? Man...
I enjoyed this place because I always felt welcome, but not anymore...
They don't even speak to you,
Hard for me to order,
They don't even ask how the food was,
Nor if I needed anything,
Once the order is set, and for the check, that's the only time you can speak to them before you actually call them.
Did the owner changed?
After the expansion,
I was happy to see them do well,
But this is just the opposite.
Finished my last meal today,
I will not return to this restaurant ever again.
Very disappointed in today's experience,
Too bad how this place turned out,
And damn shame,
Now I just have to find a new spot, sheesh..

If you like Arabian/middle eastern food, or just want to try some, you MUST visit here. The food is phenomenal, and you get a bang for your buck. Dishes are huge. The place is so popular that it was P-A-C-K-E-D and for a good reason. We gladly waited for about 10-20 minutes.
We started with the chumus, which is heavenly. I've eaten plenty chumus around the US and back home in Israel/Palestine, and I am telling you, it is incredibly good – creamy, tangy, not too salty, and had a lot of tahini mixed in it. Critically, easy to scoop with a pita. I just stuffed my face. The olive oil has a strong lasting flavor, that packs a punch, as Mediterranean olive oil needs to be. I am pretty sure the olives are imported from either Syria or Lebanon. I get to have these only when my parents come for a visit.
Now listen, if you go there and not try the Jameed, you are a sucker. I’ve never had anything like it. Acidic, tangy, sweet, with several layers of flavors that made my tongue dance. Would drink an entire jug of it.
We then had the Mansaf and the Musakan. The lamb in the Mansaf fell off the bone. The yellow rice had a gentle salty/sweet flavor, and was soft so it cuddled my mouth.
The Musakan was covered with Sumak, which is how you should use it. Sumak has a gentle acidic flavor, almost citrusy, so you must unload it on the meat. Together with the sauteed onion, on top of a thin laffa, it made a perfect wrap with the perfectly cooked chicken thigh. The almonds added a bite to it. My wife stole half of my plate.
Throughout the entire meal, Ms. Kim served us. Considering how packed the place was, we were very grateful at the ease in which she treated us.
And Chef Yuosef was very sweet as well. When I shared a complement of the chumus with Kim, she told him, and he dropped by, and had a brief conversation, which made us feel at home. We were just two more costumers among the hundreds that I am sure dined that day, but he still found the time.
Will go again, and bring relatives with me. I can cook good middle eastern food, but delivering such an experience as in Olive Tree is impossible, even at home.

The food was absolutely amazing! I kid you not - probably the best mediterranean food I’ve ever had. Melissa was our waitress and she was top tier. Great personality, food came out quick and was overall great. We will be coming back.
