First time at this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. I was dining by myself. Service was fantastic: very attentive and helpful. The gin cocktail I had was very very good and I'm picky about cocktails. Wasn't too sweet but aromatic and fresh. The empanadas appetizer was so good!! Loved the side sauces it came with. It is all fabulous, food, service, atmosphere, I still don't know who told them it was my birthday, but they made it special. I have been going there since we came to Tampa 8yrs ago the quality has not changed. Always a wonderful experience.
We had been in Hyde Park for 3 nights. This was our final evening and as it turns out, we saved the best for last. Great service, great food and wonderful atmosphere. We were celebrating a birthday and when we arrived at our table, there was a birthday card on the table. The menu had Happy Birthday printed on the top of it. The entire experience was excellent. Would definitely go back and make On Swann our first stop.
