Little "hole in the wall" looking spot. I've been in twice and the same lady was there. She was very friendly and quick with getting my order. I've had Cuban toast and cheese, Cuban breakfast sandwich, and cafe con leche. All was good. I'll definitely stop in again.
A place I used to get Cubans closed ages ago and have not found a good replacement since. Well now I have. This place makes them the way I grew up with and the crab roll ? omg. The flavor and size are perfect. Large and flavor packed.
I stopped in for lunch today and it was excellent. For a very good price I got a Cuban sandwich, rice and beans and a fountain drink. In search of a true Cuban, this place did not disappoint. It had real roast beef and was crispy and pressed. The beans were fantastic. For a true taste of Tampa in a quaint hole in the wall I recommend Papa Joe's!
