**Four-Star Review for Pete's Place North**

Pete's Place North in Carrollwood has become one of my go-to neighborhood spots over the past year. The bar keeps getting better and better with real investment showing up everywhere. They’ve added a great new pavilion and stage in the outdoor shell floor area, plus that badass new neon “Pete’s Place” sign that gives serious Roadhouse vibes. It’s the kind of upgrade that makes you excited for what’s next.

The service is consistently strong and the personalities here are what make the place special. Lacey, Emma, Hillary, Hayden, Jen (the manager), Jazzy, Kenzie, and Lisa are all phenomenal — they genuinely keep both regulars and newcomers having a good time. Special shoutout to Ray at the door — he’s basically Patrick Swayze, except Cuban and a lot taller. Dude sets the perfect tone right when you walk in.

Karaoke nights on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays are a highlight but definitely hit or miss. When the good singers show up it turns into an absolute blast, mixing with us common folk belting out our tunes. The energy on those nights can be electric. One small thing that kills the vibe a bit is that TouchTunes goes completely silent when nobody is playing a song. A set playlist or letting it auto-play in the gaps would keep the atmosphere going strong and probably bring in even more customers.

Overall, this place has so much potential. Great service, fun events, and a dependable neighborhood feel. It just needs a few more consistent crowds to push it into five-star territory — and I have no doubt that’s coming. I’m excited to watch it keep growing. Had a great time in the bar area and wanted to get a little something for myself on the way home. I don’t know what Scott’s problem is, the childish adult behind the counter with a beard and glasses, but he slammed the register after I accidentally approached him before he was done with some task. Then he proceeds to throw everything at me across the counter, the bottle, the receipt, the bag. I’ll never give my business to an establishment that hires such people. Do better Pete.

The bartender during the shift of the 13th day of June, 2026 , was honestly rude. She didn’t serve us and when asked if she can take our order she said “i do not take orders” and when I asked why she was being so rude she said & I quote “oh I’m drunk”. I don’t want to curse bc this will get deleted and I want it to be seen so that should tell u a lot :)

Another great night at Pete’s place! Very nice atmosphere, plus karaoke and people are actually good at singing! Came to see Joy outside and ended up getting great service from Hillary and Lacy too. They have my fav whiskey 🥃 Will definitely be returning

Stopped in for a drink in the afternoon to check out their patio. Got wonderful service from a nice young lady (believe her name is Joy) She invited me back on Saturday for the band. See you then!

The atmosphere is great and the red headed bartender Lacey is such a sweet angel and very personable and always has a smile on her face. Will definitely be back.

They redid the outside patio, and it’s actually nice. The shell was awful though as I use a wheelchair for mobility and, it is very difficult. The service was horrible. You had to wait 10 plus minutes for a drink. This was a common complaint. The band had a great vibe, and it was a great crowd.
