Pitas republic is the best kept secret in Tampa. Have you ever tried a new food location for lunch or dinner that just blows past your expectations? That’s Pitas in this neighborhood. The Hummus is amazing, the gyros and pitas are great, but the Tex Mex is on ANOTHER LEVEL. you have to try it. The staff here are always friendly and I love coming here. I drive 22 minutes just to get my favorite Greek and Mediterranean food whenever I can.
Stopped by on a whim to pick up lunch.Great selection with great prices. Staff were warm and friendly, chatted while preparing the order. I got the power pita - vegetarian with falafel, hummus, eggplant, and taboule. I got it to go and wasn't sure how it would be 30 min later, but perhaps that was the perfect amount of time. The flavors and textures came together perfectly, the smashed falafel made the sandwich moist but not soggy. It was the best sandwich I've had...

While quality & accuracy at many other restaurants seems to be dwindling, this place shines! Thank you! I for one appreciate you! FYI…their Greek salad with chicken is phenomenal 😋
