Robeks Fresh Juice & Smoothies

Actually crazy. Walked on to an employee sitting down. I greet him twice and he doesn’t say a word, actually not a single word. I ask if a smoothie has caffeine and he says he doesn’t know. He asks his co worker who then asks me what. I ask them again if the smoothie has caffeine and say I don’t know. $12 smoothies and the person making them doesn’t know what’s in them ?

So I’m a Robeks veteran. I started working at one when I was like 17 and it hands down had my favorite smoothies and juices. The bloomingdale location and the once across the street from the mall closed a long time ago and I was super bummed. When I heard a while back that there was a downtown location, I was so excited. I get that it’s downtown and there are a lot of business nearby that can contribute to what happened to me but… the last time I was there, we got a smoothie and a juice and they put it into a cup holder and then into a bag and once we got outside and took our respective drinks, there was a roach… in the bag… dead. I’m so upset because I still want to order from Robeks so badly, It’s THAT tasty… but I cannot get over the roach. I can’t. So I just don’t think I can order from here anymore ): Hopefully another location opens and maybe it’ll be safer idk.

The owners and the staff at Robeks are absolutely amazing. Great customer service, super fast. More importantly the team is dedicated to answering questions about the products and details of the ingredients used in the smoothies. The 800lb gorilla and the the blue gorilla are phenomenal treats to reward yourself after a monster workout. I think this is my top choice to grab a meal replacement or a lemon ginger shot. Great job

Smoothies are great! Never tried the bowls or toasts here. Sometimes it gets busy during lunch time, better to pre-order using their app.

What place in channel side cannot break a $100 bill on a $50 order? This was for a world touring recording artist. As a runner for a famous recording artist I do my very best to give the artist what they want. I know for future reference I nor any of my team will ever use this location ever again. And I'll be sure to let future tours that come to the Bay area know this as well. Totally unacceptable.
