Place is fine. More image than substance. Food was ok. Service was ok. Atmosphere quality depends on what mood you’re in. For me it was ok. We had the Vindaloo, hamachi crudo, gnocchi, cobia collar and a seasonal risotto. Nothing amazing or mind blowing but all just kind of OK. The Risotto was very good. Ordered a whiskey sour with whites and it came out with almost zero froth and had strings of egg white in it. Undrinkable. Another Tampa restaurant that invests more into image than then the menu.

Eating here is an experience! We order a number of dishes to share and each artistically plated. The flavors in each dish were equally unique and enjoyable. We really enjoyed the craft styles cocktails The atmosphere and the music was a vibe!

Excellent first time here. It was a meal to celebrate our birthdays and a graduation. The service was attentive and friendly but not over baring - just what I expect for a restaurant like this. Our meal ended with an extra dessert with a birthday candle in it and a card the staff signed. Such nice touches! We both shared the beet ricotta dish, prawns, cobia collar, foie gras and then for dessert the black sesame ice cream and the chocolate pane cotta. Plus, the Riesling. The standout dishes for me were the ricotta beet dish and the black sesame ice cream. The collar and the ricotta beet dish were the favorite of the person who ate with me.

I understand foie gras is pricey, but the serving was still surprisingly small. Two bites - one for each of us. I did not care for the pear balls and the jam and Nutella (a play on pb&j) were not my thing. I also wish the ricotta pear dish came with more than two small grilled bread pieces. Eating this on the charred bread made this dish next level. It added to the mix of textures that makes this dish special.

This was a perfect place for a celebration meal. We will keep an eye on the happy hour specials, so we can make going here more of a regular thing :-)

Top restaurant in Tampa. Sit at the chef's bar if you can. And come ready to eat. We had the Hamachi Crudo (with strawberries), Roasted Golden Beets (with gooseberries and macadamia), Cobia Collar, Tortellini di Pesce (with grouper, fennel, and black garlic), Roasted Maitake (with green apple, shiso, and fermented bean), Vindaloo Pappardelle (with lamb, pistachio, and yogurt), and the Banana and Guava dessert (with ras el hanout, coconut, and guava lime granita). I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. Enjoy!

If you haven’t been there go! Attention to detail and execution make a great place and this is done extremely well here. Service, food quality, presentation, atmosphere, and a relaxed unpretentious vibe all contributed to an overall great experience. Ty and staff (Sydney as server) delivered in every way! Looking forward to our next visit.

Wow, is all I can say. Amazing food and staff. Try the beet appitzer, which is truly amazing. From presentation to flavor, I couldn't recommend it more. It's a must try if you've never been!

Hidden gem and Michlein Bib Gormond! My dinner companion was my 10 year old with a refined pallet and we were welcomed from arrival thru the dining process. An aperitif was offered, sparkling wine for me and an N/A wine for my son. That was a nice touch. The menu is amazing but we were selective, ordering the Cobia Fish Collars, Roasted Golden Beets and Pappardelle to share. Amazing. Service was attentive and the atmosphere warm with a horse shoe shaped bar around ant open kitchen and tables on the exterior. Too spot in Tampa and highly recommended.

We recently visited Rooster & the Till for happy hour. The absolute highlight was their Cobia cheeks – easily the best item on the menu. The dish offers perfectly crisp flavors with a light, tangy sauce that balances the richness of the fish beautifully. The service was equally impressive, with attentive staff who took the time to explain each dish, adding depth to an already exceptional meal.

The only downsides of our experience was the price to food portion ratio and loud environment. The cost of some of their regular menu items seemed unjustified for how small they were.

Whether you’re a local or just visiting, Rooster & the Till is a must-try for anyone who appreciates innovative cuisine but be prepared for the high price tag.

Go and sit at the “kitchen counter”!!

This was an amazing experience. The food, the service, the atmosphere and the staff were exactly what you’d want when searching for an elevated dinner experience. Every dish we got was delicious, unique and memorable. I highly recommend trying as many dishes as possible. These are the type of shared dishes you want to get and share the experience with someone else.

At the kitchen counter, the dishes are prepared directly in front of you. You watch the chef work and interact with the line cooks and check each dish for perfection before sending it out. The atmosphere is moody, chatty and modern. The service was amazing, even going as far as folding your napkin when you use the restroom. The line cooks, sous chef and chef himself interact with guests at the counter, even serving them the dishes directly and talking about the ingredients.

We will be returning and recommend going if you are on the fence at all.

Outrageously delicious. Wife and I went for our anniversary and everything was incredible, the short rib stole the show!
