This bar/restaurant has the most beautiful view on the edge of Tampa Bay. A fun lively Happy hour is always punctuated by a glorious sunset. The drinks are yummy. The food is creative Caribbean bar fare with sandwiches, tacos and such. The outdoor venue is dog friendly. It is busy and there is usually a wait during peak hours. But time passes quickly when sitting at the bar with live music and watching the view.

Excellent sea food, fresh and very delicious, the tuna tartar is delicious, so era the grouper tacos, (very recommendable!), grouper grilled also excellent, the ambient is relaxed and the view of the bay is outstanding, a pity I have not seen the sunset there but I was told by my son and daughter in law the sunset is outstanding, service is also fast and with a good selection of beverages, so is the menu. Very recommendable place.
Absolutely love this place! Our waitress was amazing. I wish I remembered her name, but she was from Poland. She was very friendly and recommended the catch of the day. She sold it to me so well describing how the flavors compliment each other. I tried it and it was so good! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The food was great, service was exceptional, and the vibe/atmosphere was just right.

Had one night in Tampa. Scored picking Salt Shack. Food amazing. Fish of the day and fish tacos delicious. One of the best meals we have had in a while. All made better with great service from BRONSON. Steered us to great food. Fun at the same time. Don’t forget to get key lime pie. ?????

Recently went on a 4 day vacation to Tampa, and this was one of the restaurants I was most excited to try. Unfortunately, this was the most underwhelming and disappointing part of the trip.
I went on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon (about 1:30, 2 and a half hours after they open). Upon being seated, we were told that they were out of strawberry and banana, so they couldn’t make any drinks with that in it. Mind you, that’s about 85% of their frozen drink menu. The waitress said they “always run out on Sunday.” I could see if it was later on in the evening, but running out of things that important to your menu within 3 hours of opening? As a former restaurant manager, if I knew I ran out of something every week, I would make sure to order extra on the truck that week.
I ordered the Catch of the Day (the snapper), and my friend ordered jerk chicken wings. The wings came out, and barely had any sauce on them. So we asked for more sauce. I will say, once we added more sauce, the wings were very good. The snapper was void of any flavoring or seasoning whatsoever. The only good part of it was the surprisingly good rice that came with it.
Our waitress was very lovely, and the atmosphere itself was lovely. Unfortunately, though, I won’t be coming back next time I come to Tampa.

My wife and I went here for our 20th wedding anniversary and we both had fantastic grouper sandwiches but this place in all honesty is a bit pricey... I guess in this day and age this is what quality costs. As such it is almost always crowded which is a bit of a drag and service sometimes can suffer from a time perspective but the views are nice.
Only plus of this place is the view. Food was terrible, cocktails were terrible, and service was -100%. Would not recommend.

Had a Group lunchen, with 17 people, there. Food was good, server was friendly and attentive. The weather was perfect for eating outside. Other than construction going on the road heading into restaurant the experience was great.
