Had some of the best service I've ever had from our waiter Luke, he was always popping up checking on us . All of our food and drinks came out quickly for how large of a place it is . The wait wasn't to long but had nice chairs overlooking the water making the wait enjoyable. Will definitely be back .

Wow! What a special morning on the water for our first time at Salt Shack. I was blown away by how many people were waiting in line right when it opened— we had a feeling we were in for a treat! Our dining experience at Salt Shack in Tampa was truly enhanced by our server, Maria P. She was attentive and made sure our meal was nothing short of spectacular. We were seated at a table near the water, under a lovely and sturdy umbrella, which paired perfectly with the captivating view. The menu offerings were impressive—we enjoyed the fresh fish sandwich, coconut shrimp, and standard shrimp basket, each prepared to perfection. The tuna tartare with avocado was fresh and flavorful, but the lobster bisque stood out as the most delicious I've ever had. I highly recommend Salt Shack for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience by the water, with exceptional service to boot! Thank you, Maria!

Food is not tasty, margarita was the worst I have ever tried. Not tasting any tequila but only half and half which is actually 30/70 lime juice (from the bottle) and sugar. Absolutely terrible food and alcohol experience, but I’ll be back for beautiful sunset and cool atmosphere. Will come full next time.

Arrived at 330 and asked for a table for 2. Was told approximately 45 minutes and was asked my name and phone number. We luckily found 2 seats at the bar after waiting an hour. It's 10 past 5 now and I still haven't received a text that my table is ready..... other than the unorganization of that scenario. The food, drinks and atmosphere are great. Been many of times but never have been completely forgotten when waiting for seating.

Had the most amazing time here!Great ambiance & service!Came to watch sunset, and it was perfect.Drink prices are fair - the pina colada was so good & boozy!I thought the food prices were also fair (maybe because we spent an outrageous amount at Hale’s Blackbrick the night before, and we spent less here and got more & better food/drinks).Coconut shrimp were huge, delicious, and juicy. Jicama slaw and seasonal veggies were also good. The crab cake on the sandwich looked tiny, but it was full of flavor and bigger than it looked.Waited 30 mins to be sat on a Sunday. There’s plenty of space to comfortably hang out and wait.Will definitely be returning!
